Job Purpose

The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The Public Relations Corporate Trainee will assist the Public Relations team in all areas including reporting and sample trafficking for all categories in VIP and Entertainment Relations: Women’s, Men’s, and Couture. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present a project to the Executive Leadership Team.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly press reports/press clippings for celebrity categories from both print and online publications
  • Work with entertainment relations team to fulfill dressing requests and coordinate fittings for womenswear and menswear
  • Develop monthly “covers” press reports for all categories
  • Manage social media press reviews
  • Compile “industry news” reports
  • Sample trafficking for VIP requests for womenswear and menswear
  • Assist during PR events and fashion shows with RSVPs and putting together dressing lists for alignment and visibility
  • Coordinate celebrity/influencer stylings and fittings (VIP)
  • Maintain showroom/closet organization and presentation
  • Coordinate and track international and domestic shipping of samples/gifts
  • Coordinate gifting strategies and send-outs
  • Track VIP placements for reports
  • Manage logistics including shipping and receiving samples for editorials and celebrity fittings
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • Full-time, 6 Month Program
  • Must be available M-F, 9-6pm
  • At least 6 months of prior experience
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent follow-through practices
  • Exercise good judgment with a high level of maturity and discretion in interactions with celebrities and the press
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate with both internal and external groups
  • Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Fashion GPS
