PR & Corporate Communications Manager
Summary of Job Description:
The PR & Corporate Communications (PR & Comms) Manager implements Panda’s communications strategies and activities, focusing on PR campaign strategy and agency management as well as supporting corporate communications. This position manages day-to-day execution of PR plans in partnership with cross-functional partners and agencies. The PR & Comms Team is part of Panda’s Strategic Marketing In-House Agency within the Marketing Department.
You’ll get a chance to:
- Manage external PR agency to develop and implement Panda’s PR and influencer strategies and activities for LTOs, evergreen media relations/awards strategy, and community marketing efforts
- Act as PR & Comms counsel and project manager for PR related initiatives to cross-functional partners including but not limited to Brand and Product Innovation, Restaurant Experience/Digital, Panda Cares Foundation (philanthropy), HR, and Operations.
- Manage and support the company’s corporate and internal communications initiatives, including but not limited to content development and management, Operations and HR communications, and corporate events.
- Support PR & Comms leadership on crisis communications; responsible for tracking and analyzing issues while ensuring consistent and timely messaging to relevant external and internal stakeholders.
- Serves as project manager and content creator for special projects as requested.

Your background & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public/Government Relations
- Minimum five years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations representing an organization in the community, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment, with increasing management/project management experience.
- Successful completion of annual store training
- If hired, successful completion of annual store training
- If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.

Pay Range M2: $102,000 - $143,500 / Annual
- Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
