Job Summary:
The Ad Council’s Creators for Good team is looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager who will play a key role in leading influencer engagements for Mental Health campaigns, including managing external partners and coordinating with the Ad Council’s internal teams. This role will work to leverage the Ad Council’s established relationships in the media, marketing, advertising, and technology industries to amplify trusted voices.
The Influencer Engagement Contract role will support existing Mental Health focused campaigns including our Young Adult Suicide Prevention campaign Seize the Awkward and our Middle School Caregiver Mental Health campaign Sound it Out, as well as new and emerging campaigns around Adult Mental Health.
Influencers/trusted messengers will be engaged to participate in the campaign through strategic partnerships, partner agency outreach, and direct outreach from our in-house team. The effort will partner with influencers and key messengers in various ways to participate in campaign content, amplify campaign messages (through earned and social media), engage in virtual events and Q&As and more.
This role will report into the Creators for Good team Director, with a “dotted line” report to Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications, and will work collaboratively with the campaign team towards project milestones.
This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of “at will employment”, the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract. Depending on experience, the compensation for this position is $6,500-$7,500 monthly, paid semi-monthly. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off. We are also open to this role being a fully remote position.
What you’ll do:
- Work with internal teams and external partners, to effectively implement relationship management tools and process, providing best-in-class Influencer marketing programs while supporting larger audience engagement strategy around key tentpole moments for target audiences
- Work on integrated campaign teams to develop and optimize strategic opportunities for influencer engagement. This will include frequent meetings and detailed communications using a highly agile and collaborative approach to drive the overall campaign forward
- Identify, evaluate, and present partnership opportunities for campaign “Trusted Messengers” providing data-informed recommendations and end-to-end relationship management
- Develop and review materials as part of influencer engagement activations (e.g., proposals, pitches, partnership opportunities, creative briefs, and creative content)
- Provide ongoing measurement & reporting structure to monitor campaign KPIs, target audience engagement, and campaign impact, keeping big picture goals in-mind
- Leverage data and insights across social listening, and cultural trends to report on impact and identify opportunities
What you bring:
- 4+ of experience managing talent/influencer engagement programs for brands or non-profits
- Highly organized, expert communicator who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, keeping projects on track and all parties up to speed
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Strong visual and verbal presentation skills
- Involvement in developing programs designed to reach individual communities and/or Black and/or Hispanic/Latine audiences; cultural knowledge and awareness of media/social media trends for target audiences
- Motivated team player who excels in a collaborative and fast-paced setting
- Self-Starter who can thrive in an agile and remote environment that empowers decision-making
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, internal and external partners, timelines, and project milestones
- Ability to establish and track KPIs for large-scale initiatives that drive measurable impact
- Experience using Social Listening and Influencer Management tools, Social Media Brand and Business Management Platforms (e.g., Tagger, Influential SaaS, TikTok Creator Marketplace) and more
- Experience with project management software and collaboration tools such as Asana, Slack, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Box, is preferred
Qualities of a standout candidate:
- Experience managing influencer networks preferred
- Spanish language fluency is a plus.
