Team Overview

The Publisher Development team exists to maximize supply opportunities, discovering audiences that grow the network with the goal of increasing overall yield for a region. The team consists of three distinct functions; Publisher Acquisition, Activation and Partnership teams. The Publisher Partnerships team focuses on strategic management of key publishers & supply sources, including the Rakuten Influencer offering.

Job Description

The Account Manager, Influencer will lead the continued growth and development of our North America and UK (US, UK and Canada) Network Influencer offering. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Influencer, this role will have the responsibility of executing the day-to-day for all campaigns under the Rakuten Advertising and Mavrck partnership. They’ll be a key member of the team who will oversee the creative briefing, linking, operations and onboarding for all Mavrck influencers. They’ll also work alongside the CS team and the Mavrck Client Success team to execute and manage ongoing campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Influencer campaigns and collaborate effectively with the RAD CS and Mavrck Customer Success teams
  • Onboard Mavrck Influencers and be their advocate at Rakuten Advertising by assisting them in increasing their partnerships within the network
  • Oversee campaign briefs, manage creative, assist with link building and support the overall NA/UK Influencer Team
  • Assist with operational flows via JIRA, Salesforce and Rakuten to ensure all data points are being entered and audited
  • Collaborate with the CS team on all campaigns and ensure the partner goals are top of mind
  • Manage reporting and recaps alongside the Mavrck + CS team
  • Track all legal paperwork and billing needs internally and ensure all documents are audited and uploaded
  • Support Influencer team on internal and external presentations

Experience Required

  • 2-4+ years experience in Influencer or Affiliate Marketing
  • Expert follow-up skills with a huge emphasis on organization and time management
  • Good working knowledge of Rakuten Advertising value proposition and product offering
  • Excellent problem-solver, taking the initiative to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Effective communication skills ensuring confidence with all stakeholders, specifically internal teams and our partners
  • Hands-on approach with can-do attitude; problem solving; resourceful; ensure constructive accountability for actions; decisive; adaptable
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Commercial, Product & Operations
  • Detail-Oriented and strong Project Management skills
  • Confident presenter both internal and external
  • Excellent understanding of Influencer growth potential to help increase network performance
  • Hands-on approach with can-do attitude; problem solving; resourceful; ensure constructive accountability for actions; decisive; adaptable

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base salary for this role will be between $72,800- $115,000. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
