Senior Manager, Analyst and Influencer Relations
This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Calix seeks an analyst/influencer relations senior manager to join our growing communications team. The core value of this role is to enable external stakeholders to amplify stories that show how our cloud/software platforms are enabling broadband leaders to transform their businesses, achieve unprecedented business results, and grow value in the communities they serve. This is a new role and will require a builder’s mindset to cultivate, manage, and deepen key relationships with brand influencers and industry analysts.

The right candidate will have the opportunity for advancement as the comms team evolves.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Develop and manage a “buddy program” for Calix execs.
- Cultivate, manage, and deepen key relationships with brand influencers/industry analysts.
- Support media relations and press/analyst plans and deliverables; including building and maintaining press and industry analyst databases as needed.
- Liaise with PR agency and contribute value to overall comms strategy.
- Collaborate with executives across the organization and support their evolution as thought leaders.
- Stay current with new publications, journalists, and analyst firms to proactively identify potential new opportunities.
- Support development/maintenance of comms materials (briefs, bios, etc.) as needed.
Qualifications
- Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.

- Superior writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
- 10 years of experience with analyst/influencer relations in a B2B industry.
- Track record of establishing similar programs in past roles with success.
