Book of the Month is looking for a highly organized, data-driven and ambitious Marketing Coordinator to join our team and assist with initiatives across marketing channels to help drive our growth. This is a great opportunity to get real hands-on experience contributing to a D2C marketing organization.

Responsibilities

You will work across several different aspects of marketing over time, depending on your skillset and the needs of the business. You will:

  • Build and schedule marketing campaigns across channels, with a strong focus on emails and paid ads (Google, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram)
  • Create and update reports for acquisition and retention initiatives by synthesizing relevant data and drawing insights, learn to recommend actionable next steps overtime
  • Research options and propose tactical ways to execute an idea
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed project plans and testing roadmaps for key campaigns like Book of the Year, email frequency testing, and landing page testing
  • Assist in the execution of customer acquisition programs, including influencer coordination, media buys, direct mail, and partnerships
  • Communicate with relevant team members and external partners to ensure accurate, excellent, and on time execution of projects
  • Partner with the Creative team to plan or produce content, with a strong focus on app and email content, but also including ads, our website, and social media accounts

Requirements

  • Highly analytical; uses data regularly to drive decisions
  • Extremely detail-oriented and resourceful
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on quantitative disciplines or marketing
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing, consulting, or business analytics
  • Able to prioritize work effectively while juggling multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated to grow and learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fan of new release fiction
  • Current or former member of Book of the Month or strong interested in the D2C subscription space preferred

Base salary range between: $60,000 - $80,000
