Description
The Sheraton Universal Hotel is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to assist with social media platforms and online reputation management.
The position will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing, with a dotted line to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
The ideal candidate must have a true passion for creating super fun, engaging, and effective video/photo content for social media platforms in order to promote the hotel. The candidate will engage with various departments of the hotel in order to coordinate content creation. The candidate will coordinate all influencer stays/visits in order to positively promote the hotel. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring guest communications channels (i.e. Facebook Messenger) and respond to all guests reviews as needed.
Responsibilities
- Short-film video/photo editor and storyteller to assist our social media and creative teams to conceptualize, ideate, produce and execute delivery of videos and photo content for our paid and organic channels
- Partner with our marketing and e-commerce teams to create content from a paid perspective
- Monitor guests reviews and respond as needed
- Respond to all guest DMs
- Coordinate influencer visits and stays
- Have a working social media post calendar with 90-day ongoing action plan
- Assist Sales & Marketing team with other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Extremely creative, tech-savvy, and ahead of the curve on new technologies, apps and social media trends
- Must be able to coordinate with various hotel departments in order to come up with the best content
- Must be able to work weekends and nights, as needed
