Content Creator, Culture & Social Impact (Temporary, Contract, Remote)

Invisible Hand is looking for a temporary Content Creator, Culture & Social Impact to work across a variety of projects in our rapidly growing, social impact and culture change agency. Our team’s mission is to use culture, cause, and lived experiences to propel the world forward. We work to build category-defining content and experiences and to meaningfully move key business metrics by delivering world-class creative. Our client roster includes the Archewell Foundation, Spotify, Vote.org, Meta, and PBS.

Do you have a love of great creative, storytelling and making things? Do you thrive in the creative process — from insight and ideation to execution?? Do you love both concepting and writing and designing, especially for social media? This role may be for you, as Invisible Hand is looking for a social and digital-savvy content creator to join our team for the next few months.

While this is definitely not a digital-only job, we are on the quest to find someone deeply invested and tapped into digital media with a strong desire to make emotional, impactful, objective-oriented campaigns for our clients. This role will work closely with our small, nimble team.

Here’s a sampling of what you’ll do:

  • Conceive, articulate, and build high-quality content across platforms, particularly for digital and social media.
  • Write, design, and execute a plethora of social/digital content, that hits on the best practices of each platform, and communicates the big idea in an impactful way.
  • Serve as a cross-functional creative capacity build for clients, particularly in the areas of communications and social media.
  • Participate and add value in meetings—presenting, leading, and owning creative presentations (in collaboration with strategy and account teams).
  • Act as a creative producer on video content, including storyline development, scripting, and more, as necessary.
  • Aid in deck development (including for new business opportunities), reviewing and editing each draft to ensure integrity and feasibility of creative concepts prior to sharing with prospective clients—including for design.
  • Support community management on social media
  • Keep a close eye on trends and news to be able to convert into actionable ideas for clients

Here's what we're looking for:

  • You have at least four years’ experience working in a creative role at an Agency, or other creative industry.
  • Proven knowledge of social media, the digital landscape and brand campaigns.
  • You are a compelling storyteller and strong writer with significant experience executing top-notch creative.
  • You are fully comfortable creating top-notch, original content using Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) that aligns with brand and style guidelines
  • You exhibit professionalism and integrity, leading by example, treating people with respect, and seeking and giving constructive feedback.
  • You are able to manage competing demands and the moving pieces of multiple creative projects, yet remain unflappable under deadline pressure.
