Content Creator/Creative, Edelman Content Lab
Edelman is looking for a talented Content Creator/Creative to join its Content Lab. The Content Lab is a creative content department within Edelman. This team develops high engagement social content, grounded in journalism and creativity, designed to drive action and make impact. The Content Lab includes and collaborates with specialists in Creative, Content, Social and influencer strategy, Journalism, Production and Design.
Who Are You?
You have deep experience concepting and creating content across platforms: with a particular focus on TikTok. You’ve lived and breathed social, understand trends in news and culture and how to respond to it, you’re deeply familiar with social strategy and how to judge content performance, and you love to find creative ways to tell stories, make an impact, move fast and have fun while doing it. You often direct by doing, you show more than tell.

Responsibilities:
- Ideating both real time and planned content across platforms, with a particular emphasis on TikTok
- Creating mock-ups, scripts and storyboards
- Presenting ideas internally and externally as needed
- Creating content end to end, collaborating with DPs/ editors/ motion designers etc., as applicable
- Participating in pitches as well as real time workflows
- Planning and delivering content in association with team leads/ CDs
Qualifications:
- At least four years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Deep experience ideating both planned and agile content concepts with particular emphasis on TikTok, Instagram Reels and Twitter
- Deep experience creating short form video with particular focus on TikTok, & the links to show for it.
- Level of skill and comfort with shooting, editing and using all the tools in app, ideally also with CapCut and CLA
- Experience concepting visual assets such as memes, Instagram slideshows and social copy.
- Experience being both on and off camera.
- Familiarity with how to use and find social trends to inspire creative concepts
- Familiarity with using social data to inform content ideation
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of creative and content creation workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comfort working with video directors and editors to help achieve uplevelled creative goals.
- Familiarity with post-production and motion graphics, and what can be creatively achieved using these.
- Experience working with brands and helping to frame ideas externally and internally in a way that will provide clarity and velocity to the work.
- Highly experienced in planning and organization, as well as any and all project management and creative tools needed.
- Ability to manage challenging situations and collaboratively problem-solve
PAY RANGE: $69,000 - $108,000
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
