Broadridge is looking for an experienced, growth-focused B2B marketing professional to lead marketing for the Investor Governance and Communications (ICS) franchise, the largest line of business with an ambitious growth agenda.

In this senior role, they will be responsible for shaping the value proposition for the business and its breadth of capabilities and architect digital-first go-to-market plans in close partnership with business unit leaders across 3 core businesses: Regulatory Solutions, Corporate Issuer Solutions and Customer Communications Solutions. The role will also be a strategic bridge between business and sales leadership – driving demand generation and growth marketing programs to deliver on sales and business goals. They will lead a team of 8 segment marketers and work closely with regional marketing leaders and functional teams to execute global marketing programs and campaigns that deliver measurable impact for the business and help establish the brand as an innovative, digital leader in governance and communications.

As part of the ICS management team, the marketing leader will have a meaningful opportunity to shape business strategy, influence product development and define go-to-market plans. They will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the business and the competitive landscape, represent the voice of the customer and deliver marketing ROI, all in support of elevating the role of marketing as a strategic partner and proven growth driver.

Reporting to the Global Chief Marketing officer, this role is part of the marketing leadership team and will have the opportunity to influence and implement the marketing maturity and transformation agenda established by the CMO.

The Governance and Communications Marketing Leader will play a key role in driving business growth and establishing Broadridge’s brand in the as an innovative and digital first market leader in governance and communications.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Broadridge has identified the following Key Deliverables for the Governance and Communications Marketing Leader:

  • Develop and amplify a compelling, unified story of ICS as a whole and, within their first year introduce evolved messaging in market strengthens Broadridge’s position as an innovative, digital leader enabling investor engagement.
  • Lead the team in building buyer and influencer maps to help us shift to a more strategic audience-based market strategy – with the intent to improve message resonance and marketing performance
  • Audit current marketing efforts and build a framework for the next generation marketing plan – with a business case to support incremental investments
  • Instill a test-and-learn mindset across the team – supported by a thoughtful learning agenda.
  • Establish a strong relationship with business and sales partners, resulting in an open channel of communication and close collaboration on go-to-market initiatives.
  • Develop client-centric, differentiated business & capability level value propositions and messaging to help our go-to-market efforts, in close alignment with sales, product and other stakeholders
  • Lead teams in translation of strategic business requirements into actionable go-to-market (GTM) marketing plans aligned with business and sales objectives.
  • Manage the team in delivering the marketing plan – establish a disciplined planning and prioritization process, guide creative and evaluate performance working closely with marketing centers of excellence
  • Champion strong creative and storytelling, as well as digital-first thinking on the team.
  • With a metrics-driven mindset, demonstrate quantifiable Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) results. Establish a performance marketing team culture --- to help stakeholders better understand impact from marketing, and guide spend optimization decisions
  • Partner with regional marketing leaders across EMEA, Canada and APAC on prioritizing global programs and supporting local marketing and sale efforts
  • Partner with lead generation team on driving demand for strategic products, improve the lead funnel efficiency and test new programs
  • Ensure governance and communications marketing efforts effectively connect to our enterprise brand strategy and marketing efforts
  • Inform voice of customer research and market intelligence. Guide thought leadership & product innovation, and lead go to market efforts for new products and features
  • Partner with account leaders and ABM team to deliver customer retention strategies in market, build advocacy and maintain 100% client retention to increase wallet share.
  • Guide team in development and delivery of high impact sales tools and collateral needed in the sales process
  • Represent marketing at key business, product, sales leadership meetings and report progress.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Required And MBA Is Preferred.

The governance and communications marketing leader will have 15 years of marketing experience, preferably in the financial services and/or technology industry. Strong business acumen, comfort in working in matrixed organizations, strong communications skills and a love for problem solving is needed. Ability to build credibility and relationships of trust across sales, product and business team is critical, as is the ability to lead via influence. They need to be able to thrive in a highly complex, fast-paced, collaborative environment.

B2B marketing leadership experience in mature data & digital led marketing organizations is preferred. Broadridge is on transformation journey to modernize its marketing operating model and establish marketing as a proven agent of growth.   • Candidates will be thought leaders who can provide vision and leadership to the three businesses within ICS. Highly resilient, with the ability to change the old way of thinking, they will create a new roadmap, bringing a different way of thinking.
  • The Marketing Leader must quickly come up the curve and understand Broadridge’s overall business and the factors that are unique to their operations, strategy and industry.
  • They will have the intelligence muscle, digital fluency and gravitas to speak credibly about Broadridge’s products and solutions with senior level clients including client experience chiefs, chief marketing officers, and digital officers.
  • Highly commercial and innovative, the Marketing Leader will quickly grasp the business and understand how to work with the sales, strategy and product teams, and to execute on what needs to be done from a marketing perspective.
  • They will engage in robust and vigorous conversations with Broadridge executives and industry leaders on a range of topics beyond marketing. While this executive does not need to have a “silver bullet,” they should have a creative and outside-the-box approach on some of the key initiatives currently underway, as well as what Broadridge needs to do next to meet client needs.
  • They will offer a perspective on what other firms are successfully doing and should be able to bring and adapt those initiatives to Broadridge.

Salary range is between $240,000.00- $340,000.00. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
