Position Overview

We're looking for Manager of Social Media & Influencer Marketing to join our Integrated Marketing team. Our team is responsible for building equity and consistency for the brand, creating awareness, community, and advocacy, and elevating our corporate reputation to enrich the Daily Harvest experience at every touchpoint.

Reporting to our Senior Director of Communications, we're seeking a Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager who is a strong storyteller and content marketer who can bring culturally-relevant, exciting content approaches and activations to life in our digital communities through internal and external social media platforms. As the Manager of Social Media & Influencer Marketing you'll be the strategist and internal evangelist for our integrated communications ecosystem.

Your primary focus will be to hone and grow a powerhouse community and content marketing engine. We're looking for someone with proven experience scaling content capabilities in social channels, including influencer and owned organic social. You have a unique knack for knowing what will cut through the category clutter and how to identify the best creators to deliver on KPIs against reach, engagement, and time spent with our brand. We need you to take Daily Harvest's social channels to the next level and drive interest, engagement, and brand loyalty with our target consumer.

What you'll do:

  • Support Sr. Director to scale channel activations by partnering with internal marketing teams and external agencies.
  • Lead the development of a content calendar strategy that brings our brand and product priorities to life across our social media landscape.
  • Devise, communicate, and implement a comprehensive social marketing strategy, including KPIs, budget, and calendar.
  • Innovate strategies that support brand initiatives, focusing on brand-building, storytelling, and consumer engagement.
  • Partner closely with Creatives, Creators, and Influencers to establish social-specific creative excellence fit for each individual channel.
  • Establish a high-functioning communication process with greener team members while ensuring strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the team to create a work environment that fosters inclusivity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Culinary, & the Creative Studio to align priorities and ensure consistent and effective content activation.
  • Partner with the social media agency to ensure the brand responds effectively to crises and sensitive issues.
  • Evolve the brand POV and expression across social media, focusing on developing and executing a strategy to catalyze the brand into emerging platforms.
  • Maintain process workflows with teams to effectively brief creatives on storytelling focus and asset needs and ensure best-in-class execution and delivery of social marketing campaigns.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of social media analytics, including reporting processes, development of insights, and socialization with key stakeholders driving constant iteration and optimization.
  • Investigate digital technologies and emerging platforms to uncover opportunities for ongoing growth and innovation.
  • Plan and manage the annual strategy and budget for influencer and social activities.
  • Develop and scale our Creator/influencer marketing strategy, including identifying 'hero' products/sellers to feature in our work and partner with on campaigns.
  • Develop and report clear KPIs and tracking metrics.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and delivering digital & social marketing strategy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment required.
  • Experience in creating campaigns and utilizing multiple social platforms to build awareness, engage new and existing customers and increase conversion via site, store and other potential points of purchase.
  • Experience managing social handles for a brand and/or personal handles with a proven track record of growing audience size.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to leverage social metrics to continuously improve the social media strategy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have a finger on the pulse of social and influencer marketing trends, trending accounts, social movements, etc.
  • Web analytics/social listening knowledge, measuring campaign performance and analyzing metrics to support overall social strategy.
  • Strong experience leading teams as well as managing, coaching and developing direct reports required.
  • Experience working cross functionally and interacting with, influencing and presenting to partners at all levels.
  • A driving passion for social media, building community and interacting with various audiences.
  • Proficient in social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Instagram.
  • Good instincts in solving problems and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
