What you’ll be doing:

It’s a really exciting time to join Yoto. We are moving fast, and there is a lot to achieve. This won’t be an easy job, but it will be rewarding. Your job will be to drive engagement and revenue by growing and managing the Yoto North America social media channels and co-managing the global channels. You will also be responsible for researching and vetting influencers, managing communications and developing relationships.

Day to day, your job will be a wonderful mix of structured...and not so structured:

  • Management of all NA social channels, including Facebook, Yoto Community on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn (global), Twitter (global) and others that are selected to work with
  • Influencer outreach and management (developing creative briefs and stand-alone content creation campaigns as well as negotiating rates and managing contracts)
  • Working with the creative team to develop and project manage social content, specific to campaigns and channels
  • Developing social media strategies and campaigns
  • Owner of the content calendar for NA social channels and writing corresponding copy
  • Replying to comments and DMs (with additional support from Customer Happiness team)
  • Regular social media reporting on sentiment, SOV, engagement, competitor analysis, etc.
  • Exploring social partnerships with like minded brands
  • Quarterly reporting on KPIs, campaigns and stand-alone content
  • Working with the PR & Partnerships manager to execute on partnerships
  • Developing opportunities and engagement with relevant local community groups
  • When needed, management of integrated marketing campaigns

What you’ll bring:

You’ll need to have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role. You might come from an agency side or brand side or both and you may have some or even all of the following… the more the better:

  • Ability to think on your feet and learn fast
  • Have been responsible for management of multiple social channels for a brand
  • Have experience managing influencers
  • Content ideation and development experience
  • Maintaining a brand TOV
  • Experience working in an agency setting
  • Willingness to take on larger strategic initiatives while juggling smaller daily tasks
  • Knowledge of latest digital marketing technologies and trends
  • Highly collaborative with a strong sense of curiosity
  • Skilled communicator with strong writing and presentation skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Resourceful problem-solver; eager to take on new responsibilities
  • Passionate about audio content and technology
  • Experience in kids’ and or family products is a plus

Salary: Up to $60,000 annually, depending on experience

About Yoto

We're a Series A tech company with a well-funded and fast-growing international team.

Our offices are in London and New York, and we also have a small but perfectly formed team based in France. We have in-house expertise in hardware and software, technology development, product, marketing, commercial and retail.

We operate a ‘choice-based’ approach to where we work. This means the day-to-day decisions on where you work are up to you. You could call it hybrid working but we don’t see the need to be that formal. We see it as more fluid and we trust our team to make choices that reflect the needs of their role, team and the wider organization. We are therefore ideally looking for someone NYC-based (or who can easily commute to NYC) who can manage a balance of home working and some time in the office with the rest of the team.
