Audience Development/Content Distribution Lead - Vice President

We're looking for an Audience Development/Content Distribution Lead to manage and execute initiatives that introduce our content to new users, driving brand awareness, user acquisition and user retention. You will be responsible for building an audience growth strategy, overseeing content in various forms (articles, videos, reports, e-books, social posts) and extending the reach and amplification of our content via email, social channels (paid and organic), influencer partnerships, search engine optimization, native advertising and more. Using data analysis, research and insights, the Audience Development/Content Distribution Lead will help inform our content and editorial strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and execute paid and organic social strategies for content distribution.
- Partner with marketing team to build and execute strategies to distribute content via multi-channel campaigns.
- Bring new ideas to the table and make the case for new formats of content development and storytelling in the multifamily real estate market.
- Inform the editorial roadmap with new broad-reaching content ideas that align with business-wide themes and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with content, marketing and sales teams to develop and execute engaging data-driven content campaigns.
- Identify and partner with industry experts, influencers and media outlets to better amplify, share, republish and link to our content.
- Identify new growth opportunities and best practices based on emerging digital trends, competitive business intelligence and user insights.
- Measure and analyze performance of audience development initiatives and optimize strategy accordingly.
- Support various audience development testing strategies including distribution channel mix and headline, image, and content optimization.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, advertising, marketing or related field.
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, paid media or communications.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience developing compelling content campaigns and distributing them across all digital marketing channels.
- Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Agency, media, publishing or B2B/B2C experience.
- Strong familiarity with social media and influencer marketing best practices.
- Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Style.
- Leverage digital fluency to ensure content is optimized for search and engagement.
