POSITION SUMMARY

As Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for public communication and expression of OTGs mission and values through the execution of campaigns and content to drive brand awareness and value through new customer acquisition. This role supports both online and offline marketing and will require a high degree of cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

This position reports directly to the President and will require you to use your creative and analytical skills to understand our customer targets to create efficient, high-impact marketing programs. This position is a multidisciplinary role, and clear communication and ability to collaborate around shared goals and deadlines is a must. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is passionate about creating and communicating unique experiences and analytical in evaluating the most effective plan for doing so.

We're a growing company that operates seven days a week. As a result, this is a full-time position that requires a Monday through Friday schedule with some nights and weekends as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Marketing / Communications

  • Employ a broad mix of marketing tactics to generate brand awareness with multi-touch programs across all segments of the business (digital media, email, social, etc...).
  • Collaborate in the creation and development of content for web, print, newsletter, and segmentation for distribution.
  • Establish publicity plan to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration across internal and external partners (marketing, merchandising, creative services).
  • Optimize for channel marketing to best leverage campaigns and ensure consistent end to end customer experience.
  • Maintain effective communication across organization as it relates to marketing programs.
  • Serve as brand ambassador at press, community and industry events.

Leadership

  • Participate in brand marketing and company-wide strategic planning initiatives.
  • Manage social media contractor to drive social media and influencer strategy; maintain editorial responsibility of content and copy.
  • Own execution of innovative marketing campaigns designed to drive new customer acquisition and brand awareness.
  • Stay up-to-date on social marketing trends, constantly mining for opportunities to improve brand personality, engagement and growth across relevant social channels.
  • Maintain key performance metric reports that track efficacy of variables. Analyze campaign performance against established benchmarks, summarize key insights, and recommend actions to improve.
  • Drive effective management of budget and program ROI.
  • Identify and actively investigate high-potential opportunities; Test and incorporate into a broad acquisition plan.

Vendor/Partner Relations

  • Work with outside PR firm relationships to ensure maximum effectiveness of reach.
  • Manage and own relationships with external vendors, and participate in vendor outreach for events.

Other

  • Attend weekly meetings and manage calendar as needed
  • May oversee and manage intern, temporary, contract and/or part-time workers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 2-4 years experience focused on executing comprehensive integrated marketing plans that include an appropriate promotional mix and both traditional interactive marketing tools (e.g. PR, advertising, digital and social media)
  • Educational/Position Requirements: BA/BS in marketing or related field, or equivalent working experience.
  • Management Experience: N/A
  • Computer/Software Applications: Salesforce CRM, Email Marketing Platforms (Mailchimp), Google Applications (Doc, Slides, Sheets), Excel, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, and Project Management Tools (Asana, Trello)
  • Travel Required: Occasional Travel Required (less than 25%)

  • Experience managing multiple projects with flawless execution.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent editing skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

  • A connoisseur of experiences and a passion for food is a plus.
  • Prior Retail and/or Food experience is a plus.
