Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 Annually

We are seeking a Wholesale Marketing Associate to support marketing efforts for all Steve Madden brands and categories under the Company umbrella. This role will require creation and implementation of marketing strategies for our wholesale retail partners. The candidate will assist in strategic ideating and execute coop brand marketing campaigns, in-store experience, and content development in accordance with business needs. This role requires digital marketing expertise, creativity, strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to effectively navigate a senior leadership team. Reports to Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities To Include

  • Support marketing team in ideating strategy and campaign assets based on business priorities within the wholesale divisions
  • Support manager in working between Steven Madden, Ltd and retailer marketing teams to ensure collaboration and execution of overall marketing strategy
  • Work with social media and influencer teams on strategy and execution to support each retail partner
  • Integral involvement in seasonal brand campaign shoots from a product and application perspective
  • Assist in pulling samples and creating shotlists, working cross-functionally between multiple teams (key accounts, production, creative)
  • Create and own co-op content calendars, updating them as needed
  • Own digital marketing activations (ie collaborative ads and sponsored products) and track their performance, ensuring attention-to-detail and targeting correct groups
  • Present to Steve Madden team on a quarterly basis regarding performance, working with manager to make program recommendations moving forward
  • Create and own quarterly recaps, working with manager and cross-functional teams to include KPI’s on key activations as well as budget roundups
  • Deliver assets to external and internal partners in a timely manner, working with the creative team and marketing leadership to ensure we meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with multiple key accounts teams to ensure each team’s business needs are prioritized and promoted accordingly
  • Own monthly wholesale emails and one-off wholesale asks, briefing creative and staying on deadline
  • Own shotlists and working with the shoot team to facilitate any wholesaler content needs
  • Assist in working on apparel projects as needed
  • Other projects and duties may be assigned

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience with deep familiarity with wholesale marketing, digital brand strategy, content creation, eCommerce, paid search, multi-channel execution, and influencer strategy
  • Strong business acumen in the wholesale and/or fashion industry
  • Keen understanding of advertising strategies, trends, and best practices associated with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with key business partners and customers positively impacting business growth
  • Agile, nimble, positive, and flexible work ethic
  • Good time management and organization skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Travel may be required

Salary Range: The pay range of this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate’s skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefits.
