O Positiv is a Los Angeles-based health & wellness brand built on the idea that small acts of self-care produce positive outcomes. We’ve created the first-ever PMS gummy vitamin, FLO Vitamins, designed to make periods and the symptoms that come with them more tolerable. Your Role

The Social Media Specialist will manage O Positiv’s presence on social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram. A typical day will include filming posts & stories, crafting smart content, planning & scheduling production, and growing our followership. The ultimate objective is to engage O Positiv’s fanbase and strengthen the love affair with our customers and fans.

We’re looking for someone creative and content-obsessed, with a positive, forward-thinking personality that’s consistent with the O Positiv brand. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work with multiple stakeholders, and can ensure all projects are executed within deadlines. They are enthusiastic about engaging their audiences and not shy about getting in front of the camera. As the Social Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for staying on top of industry trends and making data-informed decisions to deliver against sharp KPIs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and startup culture, and is excited to set and meet aggressive goals.

The Social Media Specialist reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work cross-functionally within the organization to further expand marketing efforts and develop our product and brand.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive organic growth for O Positiv’s social media accounts
  • Curate the look and feel of social media accounts, consistent with the O Positiv brand
  • Film enthusiastic content either in front of the camera or with our creator network
  • Plan and publish a regular stream of content that aligns with and activates our fanbase
  • Collaborate with creative design team to build visual assets for posts & stories
  • Collaborate with customer service team to engage questions from our followership
  • Analyze data from social media platforms to identify and address areas for improvement
  • Discover and develop influencer talent for partnerships and brand awareness
  • Convert followers into customers

Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

  • Alignment with the O Positiv brand voice
  • Proven track record and expertise in organic social media
  • Expertise in social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
  • Bachelor’s Degree with major in relevant field (e.g. marketing, communications)

Interpersonal:

  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Adaptable to new social platforms and advertising technologies
  • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn
  • Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up
  • Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
  • Experience in social media management tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of analytics tools in Google & Facebook and Excel is a plus
  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $55,000 - $85,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

  • Job Type: Full-time preferred
  • Pay based on prior experience
  • This position will be in-person 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday, with Fridays being remote.
  • Our office is based out of Santa Monica, CA.
