Director/Sr. Director of Consumer Marketing

This is an exciting time to join Oyster Point as we develop additional therapies to treat ocular surface diseases.
Summary
The Director/Sr. Director of Consumer Marketing will be a strong consumer marketer with a proven track record of strategic thinking and outstanding patient focus to lead consumer promotion for Tyrvaya in Dry Eye Disease. The candidate should be a dynamic, performance-driven leader who is highly experienced and passionate about optimizing the patient experience across all channels and be a visible and respected ambassador for consumer marketing strategy, best practices, and a highly disciplined approach to measurement.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Marketing, the Director/Sr. Director of Consumer Marketing will drive all promotional activities to consumers, leading key commercial projects from strategy through execution. This role will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure robust planning and strong strategic execution to drive brand growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Effectively analyzing consumer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive intelligence to inform consumer strategic plans which address key challenges and capitalize on prioritized business opportunities.
- Refining consumer strategy and messaging based on patient insights
- Leading the development of all consumer promotional materials from strategy through execution including but not limited to TV advertising, website, display ads, social posts, influencer partnerships, multichannel marketing program, patient brochure & point of care promotion
- Developing omnichannel strategy including media mix, media planning & buying, targeting approach, measurement, optimization, and Rx conversion analysis.
- Working cross-functionally with ECP Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales, Thought Leader Liaisons, Training, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance and will collaborate with other members of the organization as required.
- Providing commercial input and working collaboratively cross-functionally, ensuring consistent, on-strategy execution within each function.
- Creating and delivering strategy and performance presentations to Leadership Teams
- Partnering with agency team and providing clear expectations, guidance, and feedback, ensuring rigor in marketing excellence and exceptional execution of key tactics and deliverables
Managing and developing one direct report
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required. An MBA is preferred.
10+ years’ experience in Consumer/DTC marketing with significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Other Requirements
Desired Experience:
- Experience with launching DTC campaigns (including concepting, production, talent management, and media planning and buying)
- Experience with effective strategies in digital, multichannel marketing, loyalty programs, PR, social media, point-of-care channels, etc.
- Experience leading brands with Medicare Part D patient population and demonstrated ability to collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services colleagues

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $175,000-198,000.
