The Director of Social Media is passionate about all things social. The Director will develop social media strategies for our clients, integrating paid, owned, earned and share platforms to deliver social media programs that build reputations and drive business results.
This role is responsible for optimizing the integrated social media process, managing workflow of a cross-functional team of communicators, creatives, media planners and analysts, and ensuring social programs are continually improving.
Core Responsibilities
Partners with Falls & Co. account team members to understand the marketing and communications objectives and determine if and how organic and influencer social programs can help clients achieve business objectives
Works with a cross functional team of communicators and creatives across the agency to deliver social media campaigns and calendar content that build and protect client brands
Manages a team of content creators and strategists in the development and execution of social media and influencer campaigns
Establishes reporting processes; analyzes social program performance and uses insights to shape strategy
Identifies new social trends and emerging platforms. Counsels agency colleagues and clients on how the new trends or platforms impact social programs
Manages and clearly communicate timelines, budget and resource needs for agency, client and external partner teams
Manages and optimizes the social process, workflow, documentation, measurement and creative standards
Lead strategist for Falls and Co’s social media platforms
Identifies any issues and resolves them in a timely manner
Identifies, manages and optimizes 3rd party tools and vendor relationships for social listening, reporting, influencer research, post scheduling and posting.
Presents ideas and work to the client with professionalism, enthusiasm and integrity

Qualifications
Bachelors or higher degree
7+ years experience leading organic social media strategy and campaigns at an agency or in-house. Agency experience preferred.
Experience managing online marketing and social management tools
Expert in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter3+ years managing content creators or agency resources
Experience managing Fortune 1000 marketing programs
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications; knowledge of industry monitoring and measurement data systems
Must have availability Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Travel, including overnight, required at times
