Compensation: $75,100 to $112,600 Annually

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working from Content & Social strategy team briefs, ideate video shoot plans and execute to agreed plan parameters.
  • Participate in creation/presentation of pitch and storyboarding development to kick off major campaigns and content pieces.
  • Lead from conception through creation of video and photo collateral which will live on Petco’s brand social pages (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter), live social events, which may be deployed on other consumer-facing outlets.
  • Manage production of short – medium video format content through all phases (On and off-site shoot setup, film and tear down, video/photo edit and distro to appropriate teams)
  • Management of content database and equipment including all department video/photo production equipment (rented gear as needed)
  • Keep up with latest trends, best practices and platform updates as related to social content creation.
  • Commitment to continuous evolvement of technical and professional development within org as scope is likely to evolve.
  • Management of Internal and external relationships of contractors/vendors/talent

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of end to end video content production
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices by platform.
  • Expert in adobe suite applications
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed content obligations, expectations and deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, utilize resources, identify and address challenges that may arise.
  • Past execution of live social video productions
