The Brand Marketing Manager position is integral to the growth and awareness of Faherty Brand. The position will create 360 marketing strategies focused on growing awareness, driving traffic, and delivering innovation - with a focus on PR and Retail Marketing. Acting nationally and driving locally, this role will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing and include strong day-to-day collaboration with the Founders, Leadership, Marketing, Retail, Retail Operations, and Field teams to craft and execute an integrated, full-funnel PR and Retail Marketing strategy.
What you'll do:
Public Relations:
- Develop and execute an annual PR plan with a PR roadmap detailing key public relations initiatives.
- Create innovative publicity programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the brand and its Founders.
- Maximize opportunities for publicity across all media channels through research and targeted editorial pitch plan.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key editorial figures (local, regional and national) with the goal of supporting high level brand initiatives through media releases, pitches and events.
- Manage affiliates relationships and overall strategy in partnership with Manager, Influencers and Affiliates.
- Build and maintain a profitable brand ambassador program in partnership with Sr Director of Marketing.
- Manage monthly and quarterly Ambassador gifting and content programs, while tracking KPIs and managing overall program success.
Retail Marketing:
- Develop a cohesive, multi-channel retail marketing strategy based on customer insights, business priorities, market trends, and brand growth goals.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for new store openings including localized media, influencer & PR outreach, barricade graphics/window vinyls, collaboration with Centers’ Marketing Departments, and partnering with internal teams for grand opening events/experiences, integration on Fahertybrand.com, and paid media.
- Develop sustain & nurture marketing plans to continue to support traffic, sales, and experiences within the existing doors. These can include partnerships with the Centers’ Marketing Departments, external agencies, influencers, and brand ambassadors while partnering with internal teams on localized brand, social and digital media strategy.
- Collaborate with Retail and Visual Merchandising teams to inform and execute in-store signage programs, including seasonal signage, promotional sign libraries, and additional graphics’ needs.
- Balance branding and ROI-generating activations. Implement opportunities that will grow the business /generate incremental revenue while enhancing brand positioning within the localized markets.
What you'll have:
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Brand Marketing and PR at a lifestyle or fashion brand
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism or related field required
- Must have a proven track record in successfully launching marketing initiatives and executing innovative marketing strategies
- Customer-focused decision-maker with a strong understanding of localized and national print, social and digital marketing
- Stays current with evolving technology and market trends
- Team player with a drive for success
- Self-motivated and passionate
- Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-tasker and deadline manager
- Ability to self-direct and prioritize many tasks
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- This role must be based in New York Metro Area and requires 10-15% travel
