The International Marketing Specialist will be a key liaison between the HEYDUDE global marketing team in the United States and our international business. This position will work directly with the international teammates in the Netherlands and the US to implement across all marketing priorities in international direct and distributor markets. The HEYDUDE international distributor markets are currently led by key distributor partners in Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia), Middle East (Israel, United Arab Emirates), Africa (South Africa), Asia (China, Thailand, Vietnam) and LATAM (Mexico, Panama, Colombia). To be expanded beyond 2023 to include additional key markets.

In addition to distributors, we are rapidly building direct market presence in key European markets such as Germany and the UK, later to be followed by France and select Asian markets. Along with supporting the internal HEYDUDE International team, the role will entail working with distributors, ensuring alignment with our global marketing strategy, supervising distributor spend, sharing assets and information. Successful candidate will also focus on briefing in and implementing strategic imperatives, marketing plans and execution for direct markets. Will work in collaboration with US and international counterparts to develop country wholesale marketing plans. Will attend limited account meetings and bi-annual sales meetings with sales teams to support sell-in, lead account marketing activations.

What You'll Do

  • Works closely with Director of Shopper Marketing, International Sr Marketing Manager, internal partners, and external teams to support and complete global marketing plans
  • Collect campaign results, help track marketing spend, PR reports, standard processes for direct markets and distributors
  • Supports in identifying relevant and aligned brand opportunities in distributor markets
  • Works collaboratively to identify and assist in planning in-market marketing execution and activations including social media activities
  • Provides guidance to functional leads on global wholesale marketing strategic priorities
  • Works with global commercial leads to support prioritized lists of key wholesale partners in market
  • Receives seasonal marketing tools from integrated marketing team, provides feedback and inputs, as well as checks for additional localization opportunities
  • Gathers insight and needs from distributor partners to drive local brand building support and communicates strong beliefs to the global team for any material, programs and marketing tools requiring development
  • Collects, writes, and submits creative briefs on a regular basis and works cross-functionally with internal team for approvals
  • Collaborates and aligns with the Social Media team and the Influencer team in building a consistent global brand identity
  • On a bi-annual basis, assists with the planning of the global sales meeting

What You Bring To The Table

  • Degree in business or marketing
  • 3 years of full-time experience in brand and/or wholesale marketing with an international brand that operates in multiple channels
  • Fashion/Footwear industry experience is a strong plus
  • Definitive international experience, a global point of view and endless curiosity in understanding how brands adapt to local customs and culture
  • Willingness to work typical off-hours when needed given time differences of global partners
  • Superpowers: Strong self-starter, detail oriented, reliable, ability to prioritize, collaboration and ability to connect across cross functional teams, brand development understanding, creativity, adaptability, marketplace and brand curiosity, relationship building, fun
