Job Description
The Social Media Influencer Manager is responsible for managing, planning and executing influencer campaigns for the Carnival Cruise Line brand. This role will report to the Director of social media and work collaboratively with Brand, Product Marketing, CRM, Public Relations, Media and outside agency teams. The Influencer Manager will be responsible for managing our influencer tool/direct contracts, coordinating campaigns, and leverage key metrics to illustrate successes in engaging new audiences with Carnival Cruise Line.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop, manage, and execute Carnival’s social media influencer strategy, together with the social media team, to create a best in class, always-on, influencer program. This includes cross team collaboration both internally and externally with agency partners and defining clear campaign objectives.
- Manage our influencer tool to identify influencers, campaigns and reporting. Manage the negotiation and execution of Influencer direct contracts as needed, inclusive of celebrity level talent.
- Use social listening and internal data to understand our target audience, trends, industry, and social media best practices. Identify moments where we can engage with alternate Influencers who may not be working with Carnival.
- Analyze and provide robust campaign analysis and reporting. Turn learnings into insights and actions.
- Project management of campaigns, including accommodations for influencers onboard, content processes, ensuring timely deliverables, and approvals. Involves working internally with teams, shipboard and shoreside.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Major: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communication.
Required Years & Area of Professional Experience:4-6 years’ experience in the influencing within the social media space.
Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills: social media Tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Sprout.
Other Requirements: Passionate about social media.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Advanced Influencer Tools, Project Management or Social Media Management. Demonstrated advanced project management skills. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
The range for this role’s base salary is $70,200 - $97,200. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
