Credit Sesame is a financial app for consumers who want to be confident their finances are under control. The platform uses AI to help consumers achieve credit health and financial fitness by managing and growing their credit and cash together. An all-in-one app to monitor credit score daily, receive insightful credit improvement and finance recommendations, and find the right credit cards and loans.

Credit Sesame is a fast growing, venture backed and operationally profitable FinTech startup based in San Francisco, CA. We are looking for an analytically minded Growth Marketing Director to build and execute a long-term multi-channel strategy focused on driving profitable member growth. Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Growth will drive and manage overall campaign performance, maximize conversion rates, grow revenue and active users. You’ll create and execute the strategy to deploy the budget against new user acquisition targets, optimization, and retention. This role will play a key role in driving our business forward and lead a team of highly talented performance media and affiliate marketers.

You’ll…

  • drive the vision for team growth and organizational structure;
  • grow and optimize omnichannel user acquisition strategy including (Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, Paid Influencer, Mobile App, and TV) using a combination of data analysis and strategic thinking with a customer first mindset;
  • lead the affiliate marketing team to deliver on ROI and growth targets, managing allocations based on performance and overall goals;
  • drive conversion rates optimization and testing strategy across multiple channels – web landing pages, mobile, paid advertising;
  • identify and pursue new channels for growth;
  • advise and execute on messaging and audience targeting across digital channels including social media, ads, and SEM;
  • lead the planning, development, and execution of go-to-market strategy for new product initiatives partnering closely with the Product team to build seamless acquisition to activation to engagement funnel;
  • collaborate with stakeholders including user research, product, design, creative to understand customer priorities and pain points, develop robust tests/hypotheses, and write creative web copy/value propositions for testing;
  • communicate testing strategies, results, and learnings to marketing and partner teams in an ongoing basis.

You’re a great fit for our team because...

  • 7+ years’ experience in growth marketing or user acquisition experience preferably with a strong background in customer growth, DTC at fast growing companies or startups;
  • proven success managing campaigns across diversified channels (paid, organic, web, social media, influence marketing, etc.)
  • strong proficiency in direct response marketing, DMPs, attribution, A/B testing, data visualization, automation and dashboarding;
  • you know how to be an engaged and involved manager, leading your team to be their best.

At Credit Sesame, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The estimated pay range for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area is $180,000 - $215,000. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Credit Sesame’s bonus and equity plan.
