As a Starbucks Market Research & Insights lead, you will inspire teams and leaders to take action and make decisions by serving as the champion of our Customers and Partners (employees). In this role, you will lead a team of researchers to perform with excellence across a broad variety of research projects to suit the needs of the business. You will help others manage and evolve research plans and tracking programs, generating insights that improve our customers’ or partners’ experience. You will consult with a wide variety of teams, spanning—among others— Marketing, Operations, Strategy, and Partner Resource organizations while influencing decisions at the highest levels of the company.
Leveraging Your Previous Experience, We Will Enable You To
- Leverage your deep experience to align research priorities to best serve the strategic needs of the organization
- Act as a thought leader and collaborator in designing custom research plans, incorporating diverse approaches
- Serve as catalyst for new and innovative research approaches across the team, and build capability among your team members
- Collaborate with business partners and team members to translate business questions into research designs and customized reports
- Tell compelling stories with data, making meaning for business stakeholders, and driving enterprise wide action
- Master Starbucks research approaches to add value and impact incremental research capabilities
- Serve as an influencer with VPs and above, representing the voice of our Customers and Partners
We’d Love To Hear From People With
- Mastery of both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Experience leading a high performing team of researchers
- Experience visioning and leading end-to-end research, from scoping to planning, executing and reporting
- Always in tune with the big picture, taking a strategic approach to research prioritization
- A seasoned approach in client relationships, with empathy as a key component
- Mastery of experimental research design
- Knowledge of design research methods and approaches
- Compelling, persuasive oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Market Research & Insights experience in CPG, Retail or a Market Research vendor
The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
