OVERVIEW

This role has been crafted to fill the current art and creative needs of the business as part of the 2023-2025 Boss Beauties Strategy. This role assignment starts April 1, 2023 as part of a full time, at-will employment offer. The person in this role must be able to legally travel and work within the United States and work in parallel with North America time zones. We are an exciting new startup working to make the world a better place, with VC backed funding from Serena Ventures, Female Founders Fund, Wieden + Kennedy and Offline Ventures. We have partnered with the United Nations, Mattel, Hugo Boss, Rolling Stone, Marvel, NARS, William Morris Endeavor + others.

ROLE PURPOSE

This role was crafted to support the creative studio, marketing, and business development as a primary focus. As part of this role, you will work directly as part of our Dream Studio which is led by our Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder. The Art Director will assist in the creative development of marketing and partnership-focused projects, as well as special projects including entertainment and gaming. This role will be responsible for executing on creative assets for various media.

The Art Director should be skilled in the following:

  • Remain deeply committed to our Boss Beauties belief: A woman can be everything she wants
  • Develop creative marketing content to help us reach our company mission: bring the next 1M women and girls into a web3 world
  • Skilled in Adobe suite and comfortable building in Google Slides
  • Transform ideas into beautiful and emotionally engaging visual content
  • Ability to think strategically and create compelling content from a blank canvas and turn strategy into execution and delivery
  • Keen eye for color and typography
  • Design for a number of mediums such as print, social, interactive, decks, and branding
  • Knowledge of after effects animation is a plus!

MINDSET FOR SUCCESS

This role requires an experimental and creative mindset. You’re a born content creator. Someone who is willing to try new, bold marketing tactics to grow our audience. The person filling this role must understand how to tell emotional and engaging stories through compelling visuals, leaning into various forms of content including illustration, typography, photography, animation and video. Based on current trends, the person in the role will be actively curious about new GenZ, entertainment and fashion trends. You will be excited to think strategy and concept while also rolling up your sleeves to execute on a high level content for us and our brand partners .

WORKING TIME AND EXPECTED HOURS

Boss Beauties has a flexible working policy - we are seeking to meet you where you are in your life and be accommodating to your personal and professional development needs. You will be expected to work at least 40 hours per week in parallel with North America time zones. There will be days or times where a campaign launch might require extra hours or weekend support, however, this will be communicated in advance to allow you to prepare. A few more important details:

  • The salary rate for this role is $95-105k USD based on relevant experience
  • This role is 100% remote
  • You must be able to legally travel and work within the United States
  • You must be willing to travel internationally to team strategy meetings - 3x per year for 3-4 days at a time
  • For security reasons, you will be issued a company computer and software Licenses
