THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Vice President, Communications for our Marketing team in the US!
As the Vice President of Communications, you will be responsible for building the global strategy, team and program that drives our Executive, Corporate and Product Communications as well as Media/Influencer Relations, Social Media and Industry Thought Leadership. You will manage all Gympass' Communications and PR efforts - across internal and external teams. You will also be responsible for driving earned media, unaided awareness and building our communications brand. You will do this by building Gympass into a leader in employee health and wellness, known for reinventing wellbeing and making it engaging and accessible.
Creative and results oriented, you will work at all levels of the organization and frequently engage Gympass' senior leadership. You are a perfect fit if you love storytelling, can drive alignment with ease, and create a vision for the future wellbeing and work life wellness.
YOUR IMPACT
- Own strategic communications by building Gympass into the leader that is shaping the conversation on employee health and wellbeing and creating narratives that deeply resonate with companies, employees and partners via the media;
- Scale executive communications by developing key members of Gympass' senior leadership into the spokespeople for the industry;
- Scale Gympass' earned media by building strong relationships with top tier media and influencers that drive an outsized share of coverage for Gympass in the health and wellbeing landscape;
- Own corporate communications strategy surrounding major announcements, including: major funding moments, new market expansions, product and partner launches, and awards and speaking opportunities;
- Refine and scale Gympass' corporate reputation and crisis communications programs to ensure we are prepared to tackle any unforeseen challenges in the future;
- Work across marketing to build programs that scale unaided awareness while partnering with demand generation and product marketing as a critical channel on key campaigns;
- Manage, motivate and provide the roadmap for Gympass' Communications & Public Relations team and supporting agencies;
- Be the responsible for team KPIs that impact brand awareness, driving greater clarity on measurement strategy and reporting process.

- You are a highly matured professional with 15+ years of experience;
- You have world class experience in helping high growth companies scale;
- You hold an excellent media network;
- You have strong executive presence and voice;
- You are a storyteller at heart, with strong written and verbal communication skills;
- You shine high energy being a professional who thrives in tackling new challenges and fast paced environments;
- You have demonstrated ability to drive alignment and collaboration across cross functional teams at all levels of an organization;
- You have experience hiring, mentoring and growing high performing teams.

In New York, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Washington, the annual base salary range for this role is USD $201,600 - $210,000. The base salary range for other locations may vary. Actual base salary will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications and/or other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role may also be eligible to participate in either our annual bonus plan or a sales incentive plan, and our performance-based stock option program.

Our offices are in New York, LA, and Houston. You can work from any office or remotely based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, New Hampshire, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, California, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, or California.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE: We understand that together, Gympassers and their leaders can make the best decisions for their own individual scopes. This includes flexibility to adjust their working hours based on their personal schedule, time zone, and business needs.

PAID TIME OFF: We know how important it is to take time away from work to recharge. Employees receive a minimum of 25 days PTO per year with an additional day for each year of tenure (up to 5) in addition to annual holidays (including an extra holiday on your birthday!)
