Named America’s best boutique agency of 2022, Clyde Group is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist/Digital Director to join our growing, high energy, people-centric, public relations and communications agency. This position will be based out of the Washington DC office or can be remote/hybrid.

Our Sr. Digital Strategist should have 5-10 years of experience and support the firm’s digital strategy development and execution, mapping out approaches during the business development process, onboarding digital projects for new clients, executing campaigns, and regularly reporting on success. They are an influential individual contributor, interacting with all levels of digital, including paid campaigns, social strategies, online reputation management, website optimization, and more.

The ideal candidate has a varied background and experience in the digital & social space, being able to easily transition between the roles of strategist, creative and project manager. This role will report directly to the SVP of Creative & Digital.

Position Expectations:

  • Be an agency thought leader
  • Support in the development of internal learning opportunities to help speed up digital culture (inspirational newsletters, training sessions, etc)
  • Stay up to date on the latest digital trends and share them with the agency at large
  • Partner with the larger creative and account teams to strategically digital solutions and further enhance campaign and conceptual efforts
  • Help to define the agency digital strategy process
  • Present and defend projects to key stakeholders (agency peers and clients)
  • Execute digital/social content planning for key campaigns
  • Manage and support project execution engaging external vendors when necessary
  • Identify consumer insights from data points (social listening, reports, etc)
  • Analyze campaign performance and compile client-facing metrics reports including recommendations for increasing performance
  • Collaborate with digital vendors to supplement ad campaigns, build websites, onboard advocacy tools, and more
  • Maintain client websites and social communities, including publishing social posts and advising on community management best practices
  • Join client and internal meetings to drive creative digital thinking

Preferred Past Experience:

  • A great eye for new trends and a drive for executing with speed.
  • Experience working with new social platforms
  • Experience with Influencer Engagement
  • Some experience with PR, Public Affairs and Healthcare communications
  • Ability to partner with clients and the ability to translate their communication challenges into digital strategy
  • Media buying and placement
  • Knowledge in advertising platforms and exchanges such as DBM, DCM, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Experience with website management and best practices, including but not limited to tag deployment for paid campaigns, SEO, metrics and website user experience

Required Experience:

  • Understanding of paid and earned media with experience across all social platforms
  • Strong project management skills, capable of onboarding, overseeing, and offboarding multiple digital projects and campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience optimizing digital campaigns, including social community management and an understanding of the broader ecosystem
  • Strong skills in data analysis and navigating platforms such as Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, and Facebook Insights. (Meltwater experience is a plus.)
  • Ability to prepare and present client-ready analytics and metrics reporting, including distilled strategic insights.
  • Experience with website management and best practices, including but not limited to tag deployment for paid campaigns, SEO, metrics and website user experience
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
