About The Role
The Ovative Group Director, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing position is an opportunity for an experienced candidate to take the next step in a leadership role at a fast-growing company that has the highest standards for talent, fun, and client success. This role will lead our growing Affiliate & Influencer teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates phenomenal client management, inspiring team leadership, great critical thinking, and sophisticated understanding of the digital media landscape. Their role will play a pivotal role in helping Ovative build and drive new capabilities toward measuring and optimizing media to the true enterprise impact.
Responsibilities
- Team leadership and employee development:
- Drive strategic channel capabilities forward, building channel differentiation and identifying growth opportunities
- Nurture culture and inspire your team to reach individual and team goals, actively investing in their development
- Lead team staffing strategy and help recruit, train and manage new Ovative team members
- Partner effectively to bring channel capabilities and best practice to life as part of a broader integrated offering
- Own team level oversight of financials, operations and tech
- Strategy & thought leadership:
- Act as an expert advisor for program strategies by continually evolving Ovative’s approach to best practices, staying on top of emerging trends and representing strategic perspectives to clients and the industry
- Lead forward-thinking strategies in partnership with your team, identifying testing or roadmap opportunities to advance client program sophistication and impact
- Serve as a strategic voice in business development and pitch scenarios, demonstrating expertise and thought leadership to win new business
- Lead strategic industry relationships in partnership with your team, nurturing positive and forward-leaning partnerships in the space
- Client relationship management:
- Own, manage and grow the overall relationship and performance of some of Ovative Group’s largest clients
- Collaborate effectively with senior client leaders on program strategy, identifying new ways to drive client business results
- Effectively manage & grow client relationship and establish trust and credibility
- Effectively influence client stakeholders to evolve strategies and measurement approach to drive enterprise impact
- Team Operations:
- Be accountable for ensuring best in class practices and operations are adopted throughout the team
- Ensure executional excellence, day-to-day management of programs and core program operations are delivered at the highest quality
- Advise your team on planning, execution and results analysis
- Lead the team toward scaled operations, anticipating proactive needs for a growing team
- Partner effectively with internal teams to bring operational best practices to life
Requirements For This Role
- 12+ years of relevant experience within affiliate marketing or influencer marketing
- 5+ years of experience directly leading and coaching multiple team members
- Proven track record of success driving strong positive results
- Ability and desire to leverage data and analytics to drive channel strategies
- Strong communication skills and the ability to tell a story and influence others
- Passion for measurement and assessing how deeper insights tied to customer, incrementality and influence affect channel impact
Preferred:
- Direct responsibility for enterprise-level marketing programs
- Strong digital agency experience or digital lead on the client-side
Pay Transparency
At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.
For our Director positions, our compensation ranges from $177,130 to $216,492 which is inclusive of a 30% bonus.
