We give you a world of potential

Computershare has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Internal Communications team and support employee communications for an audience of 14,000+ employees in 21 countries.

Our team is dedicated to helping employees engage with and understand the business. Our employee experience is extremely important to us, and we help to bring Computershare’s culture, strategy and brand to life for employees. We are a busy and successful team, and no two days are the same. This brings lots of opportunities and challenges, but we also have fun along the way.

New: Paid parental leave

We’ve recently updated our family leave program to include more paid parental leave. Alongside flexible working and a caring and inclusive culture, this is another way we can look after and support our greatest resource, our people.

A role you will love

We’re looking for someone with passion, enthusiasm, and, of course, excellent communication skills!

You will create and deliver internal communications plans and content that inform, engage and inspire our employees. Supporting one or more of our business lines in the US, you’ll work closely with the business to really understand their communications needs and wants and translate your insight into engaging, effective employee communications.

You’ll seek out news, and work across our communication channels to develop and upload content. You’ll work closely with other members of our global Internal Comms team to organize global town halls and record video updates, while contributing to global communications campaigns that inform and engage employees. You’ll also work closely with our graphic designer to create eye-catching imagery.

While you’ll work on our existing communications channels, you also be encouraged to come up with new and creative ideas and improvements. We’re looking for a quick thinker who can simplify complex information and manage multiple tasks while showing attention to detail.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Develop and deliver internal communications content in line with corporate branding and communications guidelines.
  • Provide communication support and counsel to business line and shared services colleagues (especially our People, Technology, and Facilities teams)
  • Contribute to the development of global corporate communication campaigns, materials and platforms such as our global employee newsletter and intranet site.
  • Provide communications support for change management initiatives such as acquisitions, office moves, or technology changes.
  • Develop high volumes of content for a range of communications channels, including emails, intranet articles, videos, events and presentations.
  • Assist with the facilitation of virtual town halls.
  • Work closely with the wider Corporate Communications team, including Media, and Social Media.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders across the business.
  • Help to manage colleague two-way project communications channels – including Q&As, shared mailboxes and SharePoint sites, ensuring information is up to date, accurate and approved.
  • Support initiatives to maintain, improve and measure the success of our communications and colleague engagement

What will you bring to the role?

You’ll have a passion for communication and a desire to create engaging content that meets our audience and stakeholders’ needs. You’ll be naturally curious with experience writing and editing clear, accurate and meaningful copy.

You’ll be able to take a brief and deliver it, at the same time show your initiative and be willing to question, challenge and come up with solutions. Collaboration is key in this role, as you’ll be working with global stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be able to flex your approach to meet the needs of the people you’re working with and always look at ways to improve.

Other Key Skills Required For The Role Include

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; two to four years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills and an excellent grasp of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
  • Experience managing intranet content within SharePoint or similar Content Management Systems
  • Able to independently plan, organize and prioritize your workload, yet be flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail. Able to deliver high-quality outputs at all times.
  • Experience organizing and/or facilitating large virtual meetings such as town halls is desired.
  • Experience with change communication/change management is also a plus.
  • Skilled in the use of all MS Office software, including SharePoint. Experience in basic image editing would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a 100% geographically remote position.
