The re-opened Cortlandt Street location will span the four main floors of the original downtown space and will offer men’s, women’s and children’s designer apparel, footwear, outerwear, handbags accessories and fragrances.

THE ROLE
Social Media Manager will report to the VP Marketing. This position will be responsible for brand management and content creation across all social media platforms through a consistent voice inline with brand vision and voice. The position requires creating and implementing strategic plans to increase engagement and brand awareness. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing, managing and leading social media marketing strategies, finding creative solutions to problems, and successfully implementing projects/initiatives. A collaborative approach and big-picture mentality are essential.
Essential Functions
- Strategy and calendarization of content calendar; including events, product focus, instore animation, real time customer capture, reposting from community, etc.
- Execution of branded content for all channels, imagery and copy.
- Partner with cross functional teams for content focus
- Monitor community sentiments, comments, customer service issues.
- Manage the Influencer community to foster content creation, creation of briefs and evaluate success.
- Partner with PR agency for key moments in the calendar.
- Analyzing performance metrics of social content and making recommendations for how to iterate based on the data. Develop KPIs to execute against.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience marketing, ideally in fashion or retail
- Experience managing a brand’s organic social media strategy—including presence and brand voice—that resulted in the growth of a loyal audience base
- Deep understanding of the social channels available, successful content formats.
- Experience with social media reporting tools and influencer platforms.
- Strong relationship-building skills, flexibility and adaptability; with the ability to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels, both internally and externally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
Competitive salary ($65,000-$80,000) plus 8% bonus, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
