Who you are:

You are highly creative and innovative, engaged with everything cutting edge in the social media space. Supergoop! is hiring for a Manger, Social Media and Content who will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring our Social Media content and strategy. Equal parts analytical and creative, you will provide insights and apply a data-first approach to social and content to help identify trends, build brand loyalty, and plan digital campaigns that will engage the Supergoop! Community across channels. In this position you will report directly to the Director, Social Media.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic & strong understanding of the brand voice and overall aesthetic by planning & executing monthly social calendar across all organic social channels – including support for new launches, retailer promotions, partnerships, influencer & supergoop.com promotions
  • Work with social team and cross-functional partners (product marketing, copy, CX) to maintain consistent messaging in social across brand touchpoints
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functioning teams (DTC, Product Marketing, Retail Marketing & Creative) for ongoing social support for retailers & supergoop.com, plus our global teams.
  • Work alongside the Director of Social and AVP of Brand Marketing to grow Supergoop!’s social presence, driving followers, reach and engagement and brand storytelling
  • Build and support global development of platforms, supporting international markets and key global accounts.
  • Work closely with social team and Customer Care team to fuel fandom and create a best-in-class consumer experience in social by actively engaging with fans, influencers and brand partners as well as proactively surfacing blue sky ideas for community building
  • Support in the codification of creative best practices based on learnings and work with creative to continuously deliver thumb stopping content across platforms (i.e Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) that are aligned to our brand pillars. Comfortable pitching in with content creation (TikTok + Reels and IG in-feed posts) as needed
  • Manage and ideate the owned social content influencer program including but not limited to: seeding, briefing, product needs, contracting etc. for content across social and to be amplified creatively across our website and email/sms marketing
  • Manage social brand partnerships and content, proactively surfacing new ideas to create deeper and more meaningful relationships
  • Track and analyze content performance and social sentiment via proactive reporting using tools such as Dash Hudson, Grin, Gorgias, Instagram & Tiktok Analytics
  • Evaluate and assess broader industry trends and social initiatives such as livestream strategy, the latest social media platforms (i.e. BeReal, Twitch), relevant campaigns, and social sampling

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years relevant experience, ideally in beauty, fashion, or retail
  • Experience with social operational tools like content management, publishing, and community management
  • Strong analytical skills for measuring/tracking success
  • A strong storyteller, able to distill content into bite-sized social media captions and image while maintaining brand aesthetic/essence
  • Enthusiasm for popular culture and community-building
  • Experience managing and collaborating with internal and external partners
  • In-depth knowledge of social media landscape and digital marketing best practices
  • Prior experience supporting global business partners and global accounts for organic social, paid social and market specific global platforms a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and balance multiple projects
  • Experience working with social calendarization, analytics, and listening tools like Dash Hudson, Google Analytics and Brandwatch a plus
