Social Media Strategist (Hybrid Remote)
The Opportunity
Keystone Technologies is looking for a proactive individual to join the Keystone Marketing Team. As the Social Media Strategist, you’ll bring Keystone’s philosophy of Light Made Easy to life across Keystone’s social media platforms. The Social Media Strategist will increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and improve inbound website traffic/leads by strategically utilizing all aspects of social media marketing.
The Social Media Strategist has a deep understanding of social media platforms and how to optimize content for engagement, community building and optimal paid ad campaign performance. This position is responsible for combining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and soft selling the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.

Your Impact
Social Media Strategy: Development and Implementation
- The Social Media Strategist reports into the Marketing Manager and partners closely with the Creative, Sales, and Digital teams
- Leads Keystone's social media optimization and future growth strategy while collaborating with Marketing Department colleagues on overall digital strategy
- Implements Keystone's social media strategy across all current and future social media platforms and channels
- Stays informed of the constantly changing social media landscape, identifies industry and cultural trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and recommends changes to enhance the Keystone social media strategy
- Supports internal team education as a subject matter expert for social media and content and collaborates with internal teams on projects and initiatives
- Ensures consistency of voice in style and tone as it aligns with key messages and themes and ensures all content adheres to Keystone's consumer brand standards
- Identifies relevant program content for sharing via social media
Social Media Management
- Manages and maintains all of Keystone's current (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and future social media accounts
- Creates, captures, and edits content on an ongoing basis for Keystone’s current and future social media accounts
- Monitors and schedules posts for all Keystone's social media accounts per Keystone's strategy and tactics
- Engages and builds social media audiences across all platforms
- Stays on top of trending influencers - Actively identifies and cultivates new communities of influencers and supports and fosters long term relationships with influencer partner community
- Maintains editorial calendars in collaboration with departmental colleagues to coordinate messaging and message frequency across all the Keystone's social media platforms and channels
- Maintains content libraries and assists with managing customer-facing social media and marketing portals
Social Media Analytics and Reporting
- Reports on social media performance to identify insights, establish and standardize benchmarks and KPI’s
- Works with colleagues and other departments to appropriately tag all social posts and campaigns to facilitate reports on results
- Collaborates with Digital Strategist to compile analytics to understand outcomes of social media campaigns and initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree required; Communications, Marketing, Business, News Media, Public Relations or related disciplines are highly preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Canva or similar social content creation software
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and other similar design software
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels and trends
- Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential matters
- An ability to develop compelling and differentiating voices and tones specific to each channel that is authentic to Keystone, and an ability to ensure proper messaging and brand standards
- Working knowledge of construction and/or lighting industry a plus
- Comfortable with traveling up to 10-20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
