The Role
The Content Studio Producer is a maestro, an air traffic controller and a shepherd, all in one. Success begins with a strategic eye, an ordered attention to detail and a graceful but firm guiding hand. The primary mandate is to manage a "studio" that not only produces an incredible volume of content and creative work from internal makers and external agencies, but also to deliver an excellent final product. This candidate will be a master of managing the logistics of creative production—vendor negotiations and contracts, calendars, budgets, deadlines—but also a skilled producer across mediums—a digital first view of design, film, video, copy, podcasts, editorial, etc. across all brand touch-points. And with the unique ability to influencer people—agencies, vendors, cross-functional teams and executives.
One thing is clear. There will never be enough time or resources. That is inevitable as that we will always work to maximize output against speed and quality. So we should spend no time crying over that spilt milk. Instead the right candidate will see that as almost a gamification challenge. How do we produce incredible, on-brand content that delivers the brand story and breaks through in culture? And how can we create a wheel that continues to do that cheaper, faster and better through time.
