About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Community Coordinator to enhance our social media presence and jumpstart community growth with influencers and brand partnerships to increase awareness, engagement, and revenue!

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Social, Influencers & Content, the Community Coordinator must be up to date with the latest digital and social media trends, possess knowledge of influencer marketing, understand publishing tools and analytics systems, and be an excellent communicator.

The ideal candidate can help to translate our brand values with originality and creativity to ensure customer engagement through positive interaction and community-building initiatives.

You are + you have

  • Open to remote work though Los Angeles-based is strongly preferred
  • At least 2+ years of experience in social media with a focus on content creation and influencer marketing (internships count!)
  • Prior professional experience at internships or full-time roles creating and editing content for IG carousels, IG reels, and TikTok
  • Adept at following brand and/or messaging guidelines, managing an editorial calendar, and developing an influencer program
  • Knowledge of and passion for social media platforms and trends on Meta (Facebook & Instagram,) TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Excited by the influencer space preferably with hands-on experience working internally with a brand or at an agency
  • Creative and opinionated with a discerning eye for smart, effective content—you appreciate and admire the art of excellent branded content and the intricacies involved
  • Extremely organized and self-motivated to complete assigned tasks, anticipate next steps without direction, evaluate blind spots and exceed expectations
  • Thoughtful and empathetic communicator and presenter who loves to work collaboratively—you always have lots of ideas to bring to the table
  • Always ready to roll up your sleeves and hustle to get the job done, no matter how big or how small
  • Results-driven with an openness to receiving feedback
  • Independent but reliable when it comes to hitting deadlines and juggling multiple projects
  • An adaptable learner who thrives in a fast-spaced startup environment
  • Most importantly, you are passionate about skincare and beauty!

You will

  • Work closely with the Sr. Manager of Social, Influencers & Content and Sr. Director of Digital to build out an influencer program and manage our influencers, contracted content creators, and communities and ensure that their content is aligned with our brand messaging, identity, and aesthetics
  • Embody the voice of Pavise and respond to messages and comments across all consumer-facing social channels, in addition to actively engage with other accounts across all platforms
  • Ideate, develop, design, and create thumb-stopping content to help attract, engage, and grow our audience across social media platforms including TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Learn to manage, track, and report weekly and monthly performance for all social channels, and be able to identify ways we can quickly pivot, crisis manage, and optimize whenever needed
  • Collaborate with e-commerce, digital marketing, creative, and other cross-functional partners to deliver creative solutions that support overall business needs, from churning out consistent content from brand ambassadors for use on the website or retention marketing to obtaining qualitative insights on polls, the opportunities are limitless
  • Support PR efforts, perform outreach, maintain correspondence whenever necessary and applicable
  • Assist with event ideation, planning, and execution for influencers and other relevant media
  • Keep up with the latest social media trends in news, memes, pop culture, celebrities, music, etc. and partners (whether it’s influencers, creators, or other brands) and find brand-appropriate ways to incorporate them into our content
