Who we are looking for:
Are you a talented digital content creator with experience in the healthcare and/or association space? Do you have a passion for developing and implementing content marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and engagement?
ASCO is looking for a Digital Content Creator to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns for programs through content creation and development, scheduling content throughout various digital channels, content quality assurance (QA), content tracking, and assisting with analysis of campaigns. Responsibilities
- Serve as a digital content creator across multiple platforms including email, online newsletter, paid/earned/owned social media, and web for ASCO programs, products, and services across the organization.
- Develop and implement content marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement with both ASCO members and the community we serve.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine creative messaging needs that will enable the development of emails, ads, and posts across multiple digital platforms.
- Copywrite marketing materials utilizing internal QA policies to ensure clear, concise communications that follow internal branding standards and ASCO policies.
- Create and manage schedules and timelines for marketing campaigns.
- Work with internal and external agencies to coordinate the development of visual content, including ads, banners, videos, etc.
- Work with Director and marketing analytics team to develop post-campaign reports.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Online Media, Communications, Marketing, Creative Writing, Digital Marketing or equivalent years of experience
- 4 – 5 years of experience in developing digital content in the healthcare and/or Association space
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Airtable, SmartSheet or other project management programs
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and/or Adobe Analytics
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in project managing multiple programs with rapid timelines
- Knowledge of publications and/or event marketing
- Familiarity with running omni-channel marketing campaigns
