In this role, you will lead our US Retail Marketing team in the development of the Retail Marketing Strategy and annual plans that drive awareness, traffic, conversion, and supports commercial growth of Levi’s Retail Stores (Mainline and Outlet). You will leverage and amplify marketing tactics while also identifying new marketing tactics to test and learn from.
About The Job
- Create the US Retail media strategy, media plans, media execution
- Develop key market recommendations
- Partner with Brand Media lead to create optimal media plan that compliments brand plans while achieving retail specific goals
- Work with agency partner to develop creative and deliver to media outlets
- Provide clear goals and measurable KPI’s; leverage results to inform subsequent and future marketing tactic/programs
- Work with key cross functional partners in Merchandising, Planning/Ops, Brand Marketing, and BX to guide cross channel agreement on seasonal messaging and timing, including promotions
- Own the Levi’s new store opening Marketing approach within the US. Implement 3 phased launch approach – create advanced buzz, launch/open with impact, and sustain momentum. Lead unique programming that differentiates Levi’s Stores from other points of distribution, elevates the experience, and gives people a reason to visit in-store:
- Customization – in locations with tailor shops
- In store events (music, leverage sports partnerships, influencer appearances)
- Trial programs (partnership with local businesses, GWP, women’s and men’s events)
- Retail theater (live windows, technology)
- Be the champion of:
- Macro and micro trends influencing Retail and inspiring youth culture today
- Competitive insights around what is happening w/in the retail marketing landscape
- Ensure broad based awareness for Marketing activity within the DTC commercial org, with goal to “market the marketing”:
- Guide a holistic omni-initiatives including leveraging levi.com for elevated Retail awareness and loyalty acquisition to drive greater store awareness - Member of (2) leadership teams:
- Be an active and participating member of DTCLT which includes: attending, contribution, and regularly presenting marketing plans and results in weekly status meetings; attending and providing input for monthly/quarterly business reviews; local market travel for events/launches; regular store visits w/ teams, etc.
- Represent Retail Marketing needs on the US/Canada LT ongoing but especially during GTM
- Accountable for budget management and implementation with continual drive to optimize ROI
- Provide clear direction and coaching to the Retail Marketing team to promote engagement and retention
About You
- Bachelors' Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with focus on retail or channel marketing
- Proven track record driving multiple streams of work (creative brief to full Execution)
- Experience leading teams
The expected starting salary range for this role is $138,000 - $213,500. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
