Event Manager

***Must Live in the DC Metro Area and have experience with political events to be considered for this role***

As a Reputation Marketing Event Manager, you will build and execute plans for our client’s events. You will be expected to develop programs that engage key ally groups, consumers, and key opinion formers. You will thrive under pressure, love to travel, and have a passion for event logistics, strategy, and tactics.

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Define and execute key influencer and consumer marketing programs that speak to our clients contributions.
• Maintain and monitor event budget, calendar management and competitive research for assigned projects.
• Full event management and production including all aspects of event logistics from development of content, production, venue management, promotions and other event-related marketing responsibilities.
• Analyze programs for effectiveness; conduct post-event reporting and ROI analysis and present as requested.
• Interact with and manage multiple vendors, partners, executives and other functional groups.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelors of Art or Bachelors of Science degree from accredited university/college
• 5 years of similar experience in an experiential marketing role.
• Experience in public sector or public affairs marketing and / or political / advocacy campaigns
• Exceptional budget management, negotiation, organizational and presentation skills.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity, highly agile, and flexible
• Exceptional communication, presentation skills
• Demonstrable leadership skills in corporate environments
• Able to function independently and utilize resources and best practices
• Autonomously lead major programs of work
• Ability to strategize at a high level supported by applicable tactics, work smart in a fast-paced, high-pressure, high-growth environment
• Must be willing to travel and work as needed
