The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care Division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As a Senior Social Media and Content Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media and content strategies to improve brand awareness, evaluation, conversion, adoption/retention and loyalty for FreeStyle Libre brand.
Your role will also involve analyzing and reporting on the performance of social media content and working with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy and messaging across all channels.
What You’ll Work On
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media and content strategies to meet the business objectives through demonstrating channel nuances and how channels work together.
- Manage day-to-day social media operations, including content creation, publishing and moderation of global channels.
- Partner with Areas and Countries to gain insights as to how content and social media can help drive incremental growth, increasing acquisition and retention.
- Define the operational Model for social media at Global level and align the strategy and approach with Areas and Countries.
- Collaborate, plan and align with cross-functional teams to create and execute content strategy it across all channels, including social media, email and web.
- Analyze and report on the performance of content using various tools and platforms and adjust strategies and tactics as necessary to optimize results.
- Oversee the creation and management of content calendars and content development to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to continually improve FreeStyle Libre brand social media presence.
- Working with cross functional teams create influencer guidelines, template, campaigns and toolkits that can be adopted by Areas and Countries (where applicable).
- Manage a team of social media manager and content specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentoring as needed.
Pay
The salary range for this position is 118, 100 – 236,100K based on experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, social media and content strategy.
- Experience as regional and country brand manager in healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience in analyzing and reporting on social media metrics to drive results.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. At country and regional level
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solver with a track record of driving innovation in social media and content marketing.
- Passion for social media and content marketing, with a willingness to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies
