Senior, Influencer Marketing & Social Activation Consultant

As a Senior, Influencer Marketing & Social Activation Consultant you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the operations of the influencer product at KPM, as well as partnering with the Commercial Program team to nurture strong relationships we can activate against across the social media ecosystem. This role supports innovation, builds internal/external relationships, and partners with vendors to set expectations on the performative execution of strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong social & influencer background with experience executing social campaigns. In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Program team helping to evaluate and operationalize the go-to-market strategies for social and influencer products at Kroger Precision Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Support new social product innovation with a focus on activation.
  • Support strong relationships with vendor partners and stay current on relevant, upcoming offerings.
  • Assist in the development of our influencer marketing products, including relationship building, outreach and partner management.
  • Strengthen end-to-end influencer campaign design, execution, and measurement across channels.
  • Identify paid, earned, and owned media opportunities to scale influencer marketing insights.
  • Establish a process to socialize and scale influencer output and results across internal teams.
  • Manage influencer outreach, negotiation, and contracting to ensure an optimal outcome for the brand.
  • Maintain standards for influencer generated branded content to ensure we stick to campaign timelines and deliverables.
  • Compile, analyze, and assess the performance of influencer marketing campaigns to make strategic decisions and improvements.
  • Maintain an influencer database with accurate and up to date brand partnerships.
  • Liaison between multiple teams advocating campaign performance, ways of working, and troubleshooting between sales team, campaign operations, buyers, traffickers, and analysts.
  • Internal and external voice for social and influencer campaign performance and strategy.
  • Active voice in upskilling/training the KPM organization on social and influencer marketing.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of digital media experience working in an agency or publisher setting with a minimum of 1-2 years focused on influencer work.
  • Knowledge of key social platforms inclusive of Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, and more.
  • Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the evolving digital landscape with a proven track record of developing and executing multiplatform paid, owned and earned social media & influencer programs at scale.
  • Able to review results and performance of influencer campaigns based on predetermined success indicators, determine effectiveness and report back to client.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
