Commitment: Must be eligible to receive college credit and 3 days a week.

Based in NYC but operating remotely.

Magnet Media, Inc. is looking for a remote social media intern to join the marketing team for Summer 2023. You must have a strong passion for crafting beautiful and compelling social media assets and a desire to explore tech and finance trends. You'll be working directly with our director of content.

We are a rapidly growing strategic studio located in NYC. We specialize in creating video, podcast, interactive, and social media content for some of the worlds' top brands—Google, Mattel, Adobe, IBM, Nickelodeon, JPMorgan, Chase, Airbnb, Amazon—in technology, finance, entertainment, and beyond.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong eye for stunning graphics and digital content
  • Creative knowledge of Canva, Hubspot, and most social platforms
  • Quick hands on formatting assets for different media
  • Video editing skills for YouTube, Instagram Stories, etc.
  • Ability to craft strong copy and headlines that attract attention
  • Social media savvy and strategy instincts

Responsibilities

  • Compose digital assets for all social channels
  • Craft copy for Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn posts
  • Design assets according to our style guides
  • Assist with social planning and posting

COMMITMENT

Three days a week for a period of at least three months. Applicants must be enrolled in an academic institution. School credit available upon request. Experience guaranteed.
