The Brand Marketing Manager position is integral to the growth and awareness of Faherty Brand. The position will create 360 marketing strategies focused on growing awareness, driving traffic, and delivering innovation - with a focus on Men’s Brand Marketing and Retail Marketing.
Acting nationally and driving locally, this role will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing and include strong day-to-day collaboration with the Founders, Leadership, Marketing, Retail, Retail Operations, and Field teams to craft and execute an integrated, Brand and Retail Marketing strategy.
What you'll do:
Brand Marketing:
- Be the eyes and ears for Faherty men’s, staying on the pulse and ensuring the brand is tapping into relevant cultural opportunities, driving innovative brand partnerships & collaborations across sports, music, etc.
- Develop go-to-market plans for integrated mens marketing communications and campaigns, brand initiatives, and brand values.
- Own marketing briefs with insight-led communication plans to deliver seasonal and divisional objectives, partnering with business leaders, marketing channel managers, and creative.
- Ensure brand & product messages are cohesive and compelling across tactics such as websites, performance marketing, organic social, etc. in service of objective, channel, and audience; drives best-in-class brand creative across campaigns and initiatives.
- Highlight competitive insights and best practices, uncovering new opportunities to maintain relevance and differentiation within current and aspirational competitive sets.
- Create innovative brand programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the brand
Retail Marketing:
- Develop a cohesive, multi-channel retail marketing strategy based on customer insights, business priorities, market trends, and brand growth goals.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for new store openings including localized media, influencer & PR outreach, barricade graphics/window vinyls, collaboration with Centers’ Marketing Departments, and partnering with internal teams for grand opening events/experiences, integration on Fahertybrand.com, and paid media.
- Develop sustain & nurture marketing plans to continue to support traffic, sales, and experiences within the existing doors. These can include partnerships with the Centers’ Marketing Departments, external agencies, influencers, and brand ambassadors while partnering with internal teams on localized brand, social and digital media strategy.
- Collaborate with Retail and Visual Merchandising teams to inform and execute in-store signage programs, including seasonal signage, promotional sign libraries, and additional graphics’ needs.
- Balance branding and ROI-generating activations. Implement opportunities that will grow the business /generate incremental revenue while enhancing brand positioning within the localized markets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key local editorial figures with the goal of supporting New Store openings through media releases, pitches and events.
What you'll have:
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Brand Marketing at a men’s focused brand with a retail footprint
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism or related field required
- Must have a proven track record in successfully launching marketing initiatives and executing innovative marketing strategies
- Customer-focused decision-maker with a strong understanding of localized and national print, social and digital marketing
- Stays current with evolving technology and market trends
