As the Social Media & Community Manager, you will join a team of three pioneering co-founders working in ways that are not “business as usual,” challenging themselves and each other, using entrepreneurial skills and an experimental mindset to get to the commercial truth about our disruptive market opportunity. Each day, you will walk (virtually) into an exciting test-and-learn environment, where rapid experimentation to validate assumptions and inform future direction is the team’s primary currency. The role will manage and execute all social media and influencer activations for the brand across multiple channels and collaborate with other experts in performance marketing, brand design, and web development to achieve the brand’s business and learning goals.

A Day In The Life

  • Manage strategy and execution, and deliver actionable insights from social media and influencer marketing
  • Create and ensure successful execution of the social media and influencer marketing plans
  • Partners with internal teams to ensure seamless consumer experience with holistic strategies that integrate well between owned, earned, and paid media channels
  • Act as community manager across all social media outlets and emails by reviewing and replying to consumer comments
  • Tracks performance of marketing content and provides insights for improvement.
  • Brainstorm and manage marketing content creation (copy and digital assets), including social media content and other digital assets; coordinates resources when needed
  • Develop and own social media editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with other relevant internal teams within Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Insights to expand marketing tech tools to align with best practices and policies
  • Manage and execute all social media activations across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Will be responsible for building a social following online and developing an influencer program from the ground up to build brand awareness and drive product trial

Your Qualifications

Experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • 4+ years of experience in paid media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Paid Search, and Email Marketing platforms
  • Experience working with startup and growing businesses
  • Experience managing branded social media accounts
  • Experience generating social media content from scratch

Credentials

  • Organization & attention to detail
  • Familiarity with experimentation Lean Startup principles (LOFAs, A/B testing, etc.)
  • Problem-Solving skills
  • Data Mining & Analytics
  • Concise Reporting & Storytelling (Email, Word, PPT, Excel)
