The Digital Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the execution of ads across Google Ads (search), third-party display/retargeting (StackAdapt) and others. They will work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to work on campaign planning, project management of creative assets, ongoing optimizations and recommendations for future initiatives across the organization. They also will assist with additional project management, research on outside initiatives and more.
Position Responsibilities
- Execute, manage and optimize paid search campaigns on Google Ads; develop keyword strategies; write ad copy; and optimize results to increase registrations and leads
- Manage all display ad campaigns on our third-party platform. Includes providing recommendations on targeting for campaigns, project managing all needed assets for campaigns with the creative and marketing teams, setup within the platform and ongoing optimization based on results.
- Troubleshoot, problem solve and find creative solutions to meet our different audiences’ needs and campaign objectives
- Analyze, evaluate and present all data from ad campaigns monthly to the team and include recommendations for the future
- Act as the go-to resource for trends in the digital media space
- Assist with managing one-off projects as needed, with the potential of working with paid social ads, influencer marketing or Google My Business projects
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- 2-4 years of experience in media buying, specifically with ad buying on Google Ads and Display. Certifications in these areas is a major plus!
- Strong planning, attention to detail and organizational skills are required
- Candidates must be results oriented, and someone who enjoys data and analysis
- Experience working with image and video direction is a plus
- Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems with a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges
- Adaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities
- Ability to juggle multiple projects
- Energetic and passionate about marketing
