Customer Content Strategist

SamCart is looking for a talented Customer Content Strategist to join our Customer Experience team. As our in-house video content specialist, you’ll work within our 1:Many (tech touch) team to deliver world-class video content to our customers, subscribers, and prospects. This position will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, driving, and producing content aligned to customer engagement goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day development and production of a variety of videos, including platform educational content, social media clips, digital ads, testimonials, product promos & more
  • Consistently deliver timely videos to amplify the SamCart message, moving our audience through stages of the Customer Journey
  • Function as a bridge between Customer Experience and Marketing teams, driving content across key departmental initiatives and social platforms
  • Create and manage our video strategy, delivering a video content calendar to cover YouTube, Knowledge Base, and additional content
  • Create platform-specific content (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) as part of the content calendar
  • Provide clear communication to colleagues on timelines, and organize assets so materials can be easily shared and located
  • Write and produce copy for all audiences and personas for video assets
  • Lead customer engagement projects in conjunction with other members of the 1:Many pod
  • Work with the Technical Writer to improve Knowledge Base adoption via new content
  • Consistently work to improve content based on industry best practices and conversion optimization
  • Brainstorm ways to improve customer engagement by content creation, improvement, and implementation
  • Consistently hit deadlines with high quality of work
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience working in SaaS developing & producing content
  • Experience in video content, strategy, and marketing
  • Ability to deliver relevant copy or scripting to video content
  • Deep knowledge of video content on social platforms (i.e., Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Ability to translate big ideas and complex issues into crisp and enjoyable content
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members

Added bonus if you have experience in the following areas

  • Working in the Creator Economy and/or SAAS
  • Project Management—Experience using project management tools like Notion or ClickUp
  • Experience using Hubspot, Pendo or other marketing automation or experimentation platforms

The US salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-75,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
