Senior Content Manager
Job description: The Senior Content Manager will oversee EMA Design Automation's content strategy and direction including editing and creating content that lives holistically across web, social and email driving awareness of EMA Design Automation to non-customers and valuable online resources to existing customers. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years' experience in content marketing ideally writing for B2B brands. They have a strong knowledge of SEO and social best practices, with a solid understanding of the content and approaches that work best in channels and why. This self-starter combines a high level of creativity and initiative with strong organizational skills. A deep understanding of the social media landscape, trends and platforms is required for this role. Must be able to concept, plan and execute content programs with a social media lens. Responsibilities * Create, edit, and manage production of various forms of content (articles, white papers, digital copywriting, digital resources) for public content and members only content * Deliver and optimize a cohesive content marketing strategy to reach various business objectives, inclusive of both brand-driving and sales-driving initiatives * Manage EMA's brand "voice" across multiple channels and in various formats including LinkedIn, Search, Facebook, etc. * Set and manage an annual content/editorial strategy that funnels down to a 60-day out content calendar * Produce and edit content while managing a small team of content creators, editors * Report monthly on established KPIs to identify content effectiveness of initiatives and strategies * Identify ways to continuously innovate content creation and distribution - new formats or executions, audience research, trends * Work with the platform tools necessary to post and measure content performance * Collaborate internally with sales, marketing, design, and social media and events teams to build holistic content programs * Research and identify current customers and prospective customers and thought leaders that can help meet EMA Design Automation's goals (entrepreneurs, authors, content creators, storytellers, social media influencers, etc.) and develop new forward-thinking content tests * Write briefs for content creators, members, and community leaders to capture effective content * Curate and create content. Develop, direct and execute monthly social media shoots; create swipe, work internally with art director to create themes, and capture content native to relevant social media formats Basic Qualifications * 4+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally writing for B2B brands * A proven track record of successfully managing projects from ideation to execution * Make data-informed decisions to adjust strategy through the use of analytics platforms * Exceptional communicator and strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate complex concepts into easily digestible and compelling content * Exceptional writing and editing skills * Prior experience in the social media, community building, and influencer space * A creative-thinker. Has ability to populate a high volume of new content ideas * Analytical. Has a keen understanding of social media KPIs by post type and platform, how to track to business objectives and how to analyze data to craft narratives and reports * Highly organized.
