About The Position
As the content creator, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing content for the company which will be published in the company’s social media pages and websites. Creators are expected to work simultaneously with the marketing team to maintain consistency between marketing campaigns and content published. Candidates will also be required to brainstorm and suggest new content ideas based on trends.
You'll work with the marketing department to get and understanding of the short term and long term marketing targets and then develop content aligning with brand strategies accordingly. Identify customers needs in relation to the company and write content to cater those needs. Your content creation will catch maximum customer interest. Working individually and collaboratively to brainstorm and suggest new content for social media pages and websites, and find new ways to improve brand’s social presence by tapping into new platforms and channels. Of course, you'll also ensure that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
You must be pursuing degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Literature, Marketing or other related fields and have a proven record of creating engaging content (personal or business). High levels of creativity and thinking outside of the box, picking up on social trends. Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills and a detail oriented working style to match business timelines. You'll create up to 3 videos a week by using your own devices (phone or video camera) and have proven record of video shooting/editing capabilities: Any examples shooting food/recipes are welcome.
Day to day there will be 70% focus on video creation/editing and 30% ideation/writing/UX/etc.
