What will you do?

The Content and Creative Excellence Manager role sits within Digital Enabling team to advance engaging content for Canadian consumers. This role is pivotal in delivering regional excellence, aligning creative strategy to accelerate brand growth, improving the end-to-end process, and optimizing campaign results (pre/in-flight) using available tools and technology. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams (brands, IT, NA team) agencies and vendors to strategically drive impact (efficiency and effectiveness) by serving as an authority on creative, content and production activities including; Social, Search, Display, Video and Websites. This assignment requires an individual with strong interpersonal and project management skills, digital and social competence and comfort to navigate through ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of digital program objectives with oversight on content and creative activities
  • Coordinate, monitor, balance, refine and optimize the digital delivery process with external parties to drive clarity on priorities and expectations
  • Source available content from local region (organic social, influencer, etc.) and HCP to craft messaging themes that can be leveraged across brand websites, email and retailers
  • Develop “always-on” content strategy for brand.ca and Care Club Canada by sourcing available content from region / US / HCP
  • Build and implement owned content strategies aligned to brand vision and objectives harnessing the power of storytelling to connect to brand objectives and consumer needs.
  • Ensure brands continue to follow to best-in-class standards for delivery excellence (Google’s ABCD / Meta’s Brilliant Basics)
  • Drive creative excellence and adherence through Vidmob’s creative excellence capabilities
  • Act as liaison between brand teams and IT in website management and performance (development, content and SEO) in the new HPT model
  • Collaborate with brands to brief agency and partners to scope, develop and deliver digital assets.
  • Deliver creative, content and production excellence in all digital fundamentals across the brand campaigns and content platforms including social, video, SEM, SEO, CRM, analytics, mobile, media and strategy.
  • Showcase Consumer Health Canada’s creative and content progress and wins while collaborating with global team for cross learnings and adaptations
  • Educate and inform brands on digital levers to improve their marketing campaign and drive tangible business results
  • Ensure all content pages on brand websites are AODA and AdChoices compliant
  • Partner with Digital Enabling team to drive scalable learnings from local joint business partnerships and media agencies through digital insight and reporting
  • Strategically work with Precision Team to align audience development with creative and content generation
  • Engage with external and internal partnerships to increase the overall digital marketing knowledge and capabilities of Consumer Health Canada employees.
  • Provide ongoing POV’s on digital competitive landscape, trends and roadmap future enhancements and projected business impact.
  • Participate in agency creative reviews to shape content strategy by incorporating trends and evaluating end-to-end consumer experience

Job Qualifications

Required

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirement:

  • A minimum of a University degree is required (Bachelor of Business Administration or Marketing preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on digital marketing and/or agency experience with clear focus on bringing to bear data and insights to drive business results
  • A minimum of 6 years of overall experience
  • Working knowledge and expertise with digital content (preferred formats, message sequencing) to optimize performance
  • Strong understanding of website technology, social including SEO principles, mobile-first design and AODA compliance
  • Solid understanding of digital channels (social, search, digital media, websites, ecommerce, mobile etc.)
  • Firm grip on digital metrics and knowledgeable about common measurement tools in the industry
  • Highly resourceful with ability to think on feet and focus under pressure.
  • Self-starter and proactive in nature
  • Experience with Atlassian software suite (JIRA) and AGILE methodology

  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills with comfort to obtain consensus and influence multiple partners.
  • Proven ability to present information in a concise and succinct manner; structures and simplifies complex info into key messages.
  • Strong project management , problem solving and prioritization skills and ability to handle and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
