Summary

This position will support the Social Media team with all social media touchpoints and day-to-day activities for the Bigelow Tea brand. You will serve as a critical role helping to bring the brand voice to life on each platform through social response. You will help grow the audience, drive engagement, and develop meaningful relationships with consumers, brand advocates, and influencers. This position is in office 5 days a week.

Job Description

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

  • Proactively supports daily community management for all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest), helps execute day-to-day tasks, elevates risks or issues as necessary.
  • Continuously monitors and engages with all platforms in a timely manner, fosters relationships, and helps build our community of tea drinkers.
  • Acts as the voice, tone, and moderator of Bigelow Tea ensuring digital engagement is always on brand.
  • Continuously monitors the latest trends, relevant topics, and reliable resources including hashtag monitoring. Supports the social strategy by bringing potential opportunities, trending topics, issues, and consumer behaviors to the forefront.
  • Works closely with consumer services team on contact resolution and oversees the interaction.
  • Provides support and coverage after hours, evenings, and weekends, including some holidays as needed. Alerts the extended team with any topics requiring immediate action.
  • Assists with incident management resolution.
  • Manages sweepstakes from beginning through completion including writing the rules, communicating with consumers, and fulfilling prizes.

CONTENT

  • Assists with content and campaign planning, proactively provides recommendations for copy and visuals, gives. suggestions, and provides inspiration for future content.
  • Is agile and flexible and helps to bring to life real-time social content creation and livestreams.
  • Supports internal communications to ensure communication is relevant, meaningful, and is sent in a timely manner.

INFLUENCERS/PARTERSHIPS

  • Supports influencer outreach and brand ambassador curation
  • Helps vet and assess opportunities and fosters relationships.
  • Owns curation of UGC content.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or PR
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Social Media, preferably with a background in community management for a brand
  • Previous experience with social monitoring/ listening/engagement/analytics tools necessary (Sprout Social, Hoot Suite, TweetDeck, Google Analytics).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social and mobile platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Blogs, TikTok).

Skills Required

  • Passionate about social media and has a pulse on industry trends and opportunities, is creative and curious.
  • Motivated and works with a sense of urgency, can easily handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, exemplifies a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills as this this position is consumer facing, detail oriented and meticulous with grammar.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, evenings, holidays, and weekends when needed.
  • Collaborative team player, values and respects others input, as well as comfortable working independently.
  • Comfortable and confident presenting in both small groups and in front of senior leaders.
  • Understands the importance and responsibility this role entails supporting the #1 brand in specialty tea.
