Burial Beer is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Content Creator to develop photo and video assets for digital use. The Content Creator will report directly to the Head of Marketing and collaborate with the Brand, Retail, and Production departments to ensure timely delivery of content each week. This position will also be responsible for social media management across a variety of platforms.

This role requires strong prioritization skills, the ability to problem solve in dynamic environments, and a competency capturing digital media across a wide variety of subjects. The ideal candidate has experience within the food and beverage industry, keeps their finger on the pulse of the craft beer industry and digital media landscapes, and is passionate about conveying unique experiences through a variety of mediums.

What You'll Do

  • Photography and videography of all Burial brands, products, spaces, food, merchandise, and events in both studio and lifestyle settings for use on social media, website, and newsletter.
  • Photo and video editing within the established Burial esthetic.
  • Manage a content creation schedule based on weekly, monthly, and quarterly needs of the Brand Department.
  • Maintain an organized, current, and user-friendly digital assets library, including edits, raws, and Creative Suite files.
  • Social media management, including but not limited to posting on Burial's established weekly schedule, responding to comments, dms, and interacting with other partner brands.

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or other coursework completed in photography, videography, and editing.
  • 1-3 years of experience and success working in advertising, marketing, or similar field.
  • 1-3 years of experience and success managing social media accounts for a food & beverage or retail brand.
  • Food & beverage industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of video and photography editing required. History working with Canon DSLR or Mirrorless cameras preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously towards a team goal, and customer/client-oriented.
  • Organized with superior attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • High performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Possess a DIY production mentality.
  • Travel, weekend, and night work will be occasionally required.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend over, twist, kneel, stand.

The Details

  • Reports To: Head of Marketing
  • Compensation: Pay Grade 3 + Determined based on experience and considered in integration with our benefits package.
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried/Exempt
  • Job Schedule: M-F, 9a - 5p
