Who You Are And What You'll Do
As the Global Head of Digital Marketing, you will have the unique responsibility of managing our brand’s most powerful marketing levers and merging them with best in class creative. You will be responsible for bringing this art and science together to define and lead global strategy of our digital media, e-commerce, and social channels. Moreover, you will lead performance marketing and digital attribution analytics to optimize spend and execution across tactics with the goal of driving growth and deepening the relationships with our fans.
In this role, you will lead a fan-centric, world-class digital marketing team focused on building brand love, cultural relevance, and memorable strategies and tactics to create long-term equity for Ben & Jerry’s. A successful Global Head of Digital Marketing will forge strong working relationships with the Ben & Jerry’s Country Business Leaders, Regional Teams, and agencies to develop and execute media strategies, create local and regional campaigns, and produce and share best practices. As a strategic, operational, and creative leader, the Global Head of Digital Marketing will be a key member of the marketing leadership team, reporting to the CMO.
- Responsible for implementing innovative digital marketing programs that support the brand strategy and pushes the boundaries with how we connect with our fans.
- Partner with the CMO, Global Head of Integrated Marketing, and CMI on the consumer brand strategy, architecture, brand voice and value proposition across all digital touch points.
- Lead and mentor a growing team of digital marketers, prioritizing activities that support the company’s strategic goals while fostering a culture of inspiration, growth, and empowerment.
- Drive the development and strategy for global marketing plans including media, messaging strategy, promotions, social mission communications and activism.
- Champion paid & earned opportunities across emerging digital channels.
- Create strong relationships with external marketing agencies, working collaboratively to deliver compelling results.
- Partner with CMI to understand our approach to driving brand relevant messaging while working with the team to solidify our brand voice via social channels as well as community engagement leveraging consumer insights to guide strategy and tactics.
- Work hand in hand with our retail marketing team to develop strategies and digital tactics to drive traffic, sales, and digital commerce.

What You'll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree required (concentration in Marketing preferred) with 7+ years of digital marketing experience in a fast-paced, high pressure marketing environment, preferably within a CPG business, franchise organization, national brand(s), and/or agency
- Deeply familiar with brand strategy, multi-channel execution (paid and owned), social platforms, e-commerce, influencer strategies, retail marketing, community building and have executed these at scale, driving business results and brand equity along the way.
- Skilled at building brand awareness and igniting consumer action.
- Demonstrated understanding how to utilize social media and social platforms to build movements, support campaigns, build understanding and drive consumers to take action.
- Experience with data analysis tools and ability to analyze data from a variety of sources to support decision making and align with the overall strategy.
- Skilled at budget management with a focus on budget allocation and optimization and the ability to build business cases for annual plans and strategic initiatives.
- Experience with franchise systems and franchisees is a plus.
- An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills along with the ability to professionally communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally through direct and positive communications.
- Excellent leadership skills including the ability to build teams, motivate, guide, develop & mentor.
- Strong facilitation skills and managing teams through creating trust, psychological safety, and effective delegation & empowerment.
- Cooperative team player with an upbeat, positive, “can-do” attitude!

Work Environment
- Hybrid Office environment, some repetitive motion required.
- Travel required approximately 30% of the time.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $135,600 to $203,300 Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
